I know I'm making this way harder than it should be (as usual). :) I'm trying to convince my husband that we should have our daughter's 1st birthday party in Disney. :goodvibes We already have family who said they would be willing and excited to travel for it.

I need suggestions of a restaurant to have the party in. I thought of Hoop Dee Do Musical review, but that seemed expensive if I was paying for everyone (12 people). I've also thought of a wishes dessert party. What I would like is some place not super expensive, that is fun, maybe a little low key, maybe a corner we can have cake and open gifts and a little of privacy, but not have to pay for a private catered event. It can be in a park, in a resort, on a boat, etc etc.. let your imagination run wild. Maybe it will get the final seal of approval from my hubby. pirate:

Thanks so much! Lisa and my little Princess. princess:

If you're talking about a custom birthday cake, I've never heard of anyone having a cake delivered to the Wishes Dessert Party. If that's what you want to do, you should call the cake hotline (it's listed on the cake thread) and find out if it's possible.

Thanks. It was an idea to have a cake delivered to Wishes Dessert. I'll call and see if that is an option.

Maybe my question was too confusing as I can confuse myself sometimes. I was just looking for suggestions on where to hold her 1st birthday party. Someplace within the World that is unique, but not terribly expensive.

Thanks so much,
Lisa

I saw that they have a birthday party room available at Goofy's Candy Co in DTD. I think that would be really cute.

I guess I'm not sure it's logical to have a cake delivered to a dessert party as you are already paying for all the desserts you can eat; are you sure your party would also want to eat the cake? That's why I don't know if that's even possible. But the cake hotline could tell you.

Doesn't the kids' Neverland Club at the Poly now do Children's Birthday Parties?

I thought I saw where someone else posted a review with some pics.

I remember thinking, if I lived in the area, I so totally would have my kids' bday parties there!

Edited - I found it! Here's the link --
