Hi, Just planning my sons birthday. Anyone know of a cheap, online site to get decorations and party favors? I did check out Oriental Trading and the stuff just looked junky IMO.
Than I was thinking of making t-shirts for all the kids and but than thought that might end of being alot of money.
I changed my theme now, lol. I am having it at home, I just finished my basement, 900 square feet, I am decking it out in circus colors, hiring a clown for an hour that will will sing w/guitar, make balloon animals and put on a magic show.
Now I just need help with where to get the decorations cheap and what party favors would be cute with a circus theme?

I love to do birthday parties, & with 4 kids I guess it is a good thing. Do you have a Party City in your area? I LOVE that place, very cheap stuff. Do searches online for free birthday ideas with soccer themes. I have an idea for your shirts, that would be cheap to do if you can find the shirts cheap. I do the iron-on mickey heads and you could use the same concept with soccer balls. Either find material that is soccer ball themed or print them on iron-on transfer paper. Both ways would be easy & not very expensive.:thumbsup2

DOes the place not provide the docorations. We have a couple in our area of CT and they all include the decorations. I also founf it to be cheaper to use "their" goody bags. Purchasing all that seperately can really add up

We own a party store in Canada....wish I could help you!

Are you doing a theme of any kind (Spiderman, Pirates, etc.) or do you want soccer themed stuff?

Do you want paper goods, decorations and loot bag stuff?

I'll help with ideas if I can.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! I changed my theme to a circus theme. I will do it at home and will hire a clown that will sing songs w/guitar, make animal balloons and put on a silly magic show.
There will be three and four year olds mostly and I don't know what to get for party favors. Any ideas...

Just an idea, but go to http://familyfun.go.com/parties/birthday/tool/partyplanner_tlp/

There are alot of really cute games & crafts to be done here. Don't just look at the circus themes, but look through alot of different ones. You may just find something you can use, but change to your theme.

Also do a search for party ideas on the internet, there are lots of helpful sites out there. That's what I always do!

Hope this helps! :flower3:

Favors could be little boxes of Animal crackers, cotton candy, bubbles and a some sort of special cup, walmart usually has some sort of animal straw sipper for .48 cents or so that would be cute.

Do a web search for birthday party ideas. It's not letting me post the link to the site.

I threw a Wizard of Oz party for my daughter's fourth. I didn't order any pre-printed Oz party favors or decorations. I printed a ton of ideas from the website (and a couple others) and did everything on my own. The party was the talk of the daycare for two weeks (ok, Mother Nature helped and gave us an AZ dust storm which the kids called a tornado).

They do that to cut down on the spam from people who join only for self gain.

For something like this, you could post w/o the "www" prefix and the OP would still get your point.

Thank you everyone for the great sites and ideas:)
I am so excited to start planning.....
The animal cracker boxes are a great idea and I can probably get them in bulk at Bj's.
