Birthday Party Game Ideas

DDs 10th birthday party will be at an art studio. They will be painting pottery and we can use the space for the rest of the party. After the painting, we will eat and open presents. I would think there will be more time and also some may finish their art before others. Any ideas what kind of games we could do? There is no room to run around, since I don't want anything to break So I would prefer non messy, non running games. I've googled party games and only come up with word searches and printables.

My DD had a few b-day parties at the same type of place.

I brought unfrosted cupcakes & a ton of things for them to use on them....several tubs of different flavored frostings, sprinkles, gel tubes, etc. I gave each girl a plastic knife & let them "have at it". They loved it!

DD11 and her friends love to play improv games. Their favourite is World's Worst. Write a bunch of jobs out on index cards and put them in a hat or a bowl. Draw them out one at a time, read what it is and girls can take turns standing on a small rug (or towel or whatever) and acting out the item.
For example: World's worst baker
one girl might step onto the rug and pretend to sneeze in the batter
another may then step up and pretend to quit reading the recipe and add zany ingredients like hot sauce, oatmeal and vinegar with ginger.
a third may impersonate the muppet Swedish Chef
and so on
Whenever the girls start to slow down on ideas draw a new card.
You'll want to demonstrate a couple of idea first to give them the idea of how it works.
