birthday party bingo?????

I am trying to think of something fun for everyone to do while DD 2yrs old opens all of her gifts. I know gift opening unless they are for me can be painful for some to sit through. Is there a b-day bingo game or something else fun someone can suggest to me to make the time go by quicker while she opens her gifts?

Isn't the whole idea of a party to celebrate with the birthday girl? Why wouldn't your guests want to see your DD open presents???

There's going to be around 30 people and some of those are friends and not family. I just thought a game would be fun and keep people entertained while she opens all of those gifts. Believe it or not but people tend to talk to each other and not pay attention at most parties when the gifts are opened. I just want to keep it fun.

We have had the same problem...I have two girls that almost share a birthday (2 years and 1 day apart) and we always have large parties and WAY too many gifts. We just allow people to visit, but we ask that each person present their gift and sit with the girls while they open them. It helps our girls connect the people and gifts so they don't think they just magically appeared!
