Birthday on Castaway Cay

Are there any goodies or special things I can request for my daughters birthday while on the island? Character request? (maybe to sing on the beach?) I dont see any type of order forms on the website and I would call but figured to ask here if anyone has ever done anything like this personally. TIA!

Not sure about specifically on the island, but I ordered the birthday celebration package for our stateroom to celebrate DD's 16th birthday while we were on the cruise. It seems a little pricey for $49 but I was happy with it! Let me know if you want to see pics of it. I have a TR started, but haven't gotten that far, but I'll post the pics of the birthday stuff if you want to see it.

The cake and the decorations will be in the room when you arrive. They have silverware in your room to go with the cake, but for an added touch, I brought some Disney paper plates and napkins.

Another birthday idea is this: If you get a chance to go into the gift shop without DD with you, you can go purchase something for a B-day gift, then take it to guest services and tell them you want it delivered on her actual birthday at dinner. This is what I got out of the gift shop (I bought the B-day pin separately and attached it to Minnie's hand)

Also, go to guest services and ask for a birthday button (similar to the ones at WDW)

Another thing you can do, is drop off a photo matte, pillowcase, or something to get signed by the characters. They won't deliver it till the last night of the cruise though. On our meet thread I was talking with someoine and we were trying to figure out if they'd sign a greeting card. Well, they signed one for DD. So here's what I got signed (on the photo matte, I added the stickers after I recieved the matte):

Hope that gives you some ideas. I tried to do as much as possible for DD cause it was her 16th birthday!!

Wow! Thanks for all the pics! I will definitely get down to the store! Thats so cool that they will do that! Im also going to do a birthday card! Maybe one of those huge ones lol! Do you know how I would go about ordering her an actual cake on her bday? When I sailed on April they only gave this mousse type dessert. It was gross lol!

It has been a few years but we ordered a cake for our daughter on the Wonder. If I remember correctly, I requested it as soon as I we got on board. They delivered it after dinner one night to our table. It had a cream filling in the middle. It was super good.
