What Disney restaurant would you choose to celebrate your birthday?

We will be celebrating my son's 7th birthday as well as my {gasp} 30th birthday at Disney & I'm deciding where to make ADRs for each celebration.

We've celebrated my nephew's 6th and 8th birthdays at WDW. At that age he's been a big fan of the character meals. We did the first one at Chef Mickey's and the second one at Crystal Palace. He had so much fun at CM's that food was beyond secondary. He also enjoyed the subdude celebration at Crystla Palace and asked to return there.

We also had a celebration at Narcoossee's. We'd booked dinner there for our first night. They saw the bday notation in the record and had personalized menus for us when we arrived, quite a surprise that he loved. We were there for Wishes and the Electric Water Parade, so a great night.

Celebrated DH's 42 birthday with a dinner at Narcoosees last year- food was good but no special menu even though we noted birthday on our ADR.
We don't let little things spoil our celebrations...

This year we are visiting during my 40th birthday and we are going to Akershus because I love norwegian food- forget the princesses- this is one of our top 2 favorite restaurants in WDW. If not Akershus, it would be Kona Cafe for me.

You might try Cape May Cafe adn celebrate with Goofy, Donald & Minnie.
