I have been to WDW many times. I have been there at all times of the year. At one time or another, I have spent some portion of each of the 12 months of the year at WDW....

One thing I have never done is spend MY BIRTHDAY with Mickey! :earsboy: :bounce:

Well, this coming February, my DW insisted that we extend our BWV 2BR for 2 extra days so that I would be there the night before my birthday and the day of my Birthday.

What I am wondering from each of you are what are some of the things you think I should do to make my BWV birthday extra special (my DW...said I should do anything I want).

It will be me (35-then), DW (34) and 2 DSs (5 1/2 and 2).

Your most creative and interesting ideas would be most aprreciated.... Thanks! :)

BTW...I believe it will be on a Thursday.

Try www.giftsofalifetime.com for the pixies to do something special.

We have done birthday illumination cruises for family. They put balloons and streamers on the pontoon boats and you get a nice birthday cake while watching Illuminations. We also get a "Today is my birthday" button for the birthday person to wear during the day from guest relations in the parks (i.e. city hall at MK).

Let the restaraunt know it is your birthday; they will sing happy birthday and bring a cupcake out. We did Teppanyaki one year, and they brought out a whole cake for our table for the birthday.

OKW has always been good at sending balloons with a card to the birthday person while we are out. I just call the desk and remind them.

Have a great trip!

If you're a Nascar fan, check out the Richard Petty driving experience. It's NOT cheap, but as you've said, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This would be the gift I'd give my husband.

I had thought about doing Richard Petty...It's something I would very much like to do - at some point.

I would like (I believe) to spend the day with my boys...maybe it'll just be a magic kingdom kinda day...

....to city hall for my button...to the harmony barber shop for a trim and a blue head...and then a great day in the MK...that certainly wouldn't be the worst way to spend a birthday ;)

For those of you more familiar with the Boardwalk...is there anything specific I might want to try or think about including in my birthday celebration?

(It's sorta strnge planning my own birthday, but I just love planning Disney vacations).

Illuminations.... Fireworks cruise. on a pantoon boat.

Call wdw-play.

My son bought me a Passport in Epcot and when we went around to all the countries he told everyone it was my birthday and they wrote birthday wishes in my Passport in each language.

I still have it and we had a wonderful time!

Enjoy your trip and best wishes!
