Could anyone give me some ideas to help make our DD's 5th birthday extra special? She will be celebrating her 5th birthday while at WDW. This is her first trip there (our last trip was in 1996) and she is really looking forward to it. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I think that if you call ahead you can have a gift left in your hotel room or a special dessert at a Disney restaurant.

Reservations at Cindy's castle?

Be sure to pick up a birthday button at the MK - she'll get lots of attention from that.

If you do not mind splurging on a dress, the Cinderella coronation gown at WDW is beautiful ($95). Also, there is My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party about $200 for the two of you. Like Bambi said, Cinderella's Royal Table. There is also the Storybook Princess Break. Lunch and Dinner in EPCOT. There is so much and it is all fun so you really can't go wrong.

Be sure when you make reservations that you tell them to add a note about it being your daughters birthday that way they will bring her a special cup cake with a candle in it.

Cinderella's Royal Gayla features Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother the 2 mice, and Prince charming. It isn't quite as hard to get into as the Castle Meals but you can try for lunch as well as breakfast in the castle. Make your reserve exactly 90 days before the date you want and call a minute or so before they open and keep hitting redial until they answer this should get you in (works for me).

Make sure she dresses up as her fav princess. Now is an excellent time to find any princess costume you like because it's right before halloween. Bring a little tote with a change of clothes for the park but if she doesnt want to change don't make her. Other wise let her wear her crown and a change. You can make her or have made a t shirt with her fav princess and a happy B-day message on it for her to wear after her princess meal.

Go to Disney online .com and purchase a call from her fav princess on her birthday from their website.

Have some one who is at WDW send her a post card from her fav princess telling her she cant wait to see her. There is a list of folks who'll do it on the Dis or just post that you would like someone to do this for her B-day.

Buy her fat princess pens and autographbooks for the princesses to sign. You can also buy a book featuring all the princesses, they can sign it as a gift to her.

Also buy her princess gifts from the princesses and put them buy her bed while she's sleep sign her cards from fav princess. Get her princess pjs to wear during the trip.

GREAT IDEAS everyone. Thank you for taking the time - it's much appreciated.

I checked out that website but can't find where you would order a phone call. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

The very first line, in the middle, click on Disney Enchanted Calls and then follow the prompts.
