Hii Guys..

Looking for some help regarding my girlfriends birthday. Going to DLP in october (staying in NBC) and have a few questions:

•How busy will DLP be in oct. (14th-20th)?
•Is the Spa in the DLH accessable to guests in other hotels and is it worth the money?
•What restaurant would be best on our first night for a birthday meal?
•What sort of extras can I add to my holiday for her birthday?

Thanks

Hi - I can answer on the Spa front - yes you can go in if you are not a guest. My friend went last month and had a file and polish and her mum a massage. They said it was fab.

I didn't realize Disneyland Hotel had a spa. Is this the only one on property? Are there any other spas nearby?

What are the packages or price points like? Is there somewhere I can view a menu of services?

I cant help with the first two questions, as i havent been at this time and havent used the Spa, in fact i havent really seen/heard much about it- but i'm sure someone will be able to help.
As for a restaurant- is depends what type of what your looking for really and what you gf will enjoy- Cafe Mickey is very popular and has great character interaction(one of my fav's, i celebrated my bday there and it was wonderful) Blue Lagoon has a lovely romantic setting, or other popular choices are Walts,California Grill in the DLH. Theres website called DLPfood- you can look at the restaurant menus here- might help you choose.
With regards to your last question- you can purchse birthday cakes before you go/while your there which will be presented at you chosen restraurant- i had one at cafe mickey- the whole place started singing happy birthday which was really fun and all the characters came round our table. I'm not sure that there is much else you can pay for, some people have said that they have had thing put in their room- you could maybe try that but it depends on the CM and isnt guranteed that they will- if you phone to hotel your staying at the week before you go and ask then- you could ask them if they could put flowers or chocs or balloon etc- might be worth a try.
