I need some suggestions here guys...

my dd is turning 22 next month and she lives and goes to school in Riverside..I am going to go down for her birthday and want to take her somewhere fun on that day and to a great place for dinner...now first thing her birthday is on a saturday...she is not a typical 22 yo...for one she reminds me of that character Daria that use to be on MTV as in she doesnt get excited for nothing :lmao: shes not a big drinker..i know amazing right??? also her food tastes are very simple she likes panda express, tacos, in and out, things like that..she loves italian but honestly you can only take so much italian...no mexican because we can get that on every corner...I would like to take her over to LA but need suggestions on things to do...done the hollywood thing already..no beaches, disney, or amusement parks and no museums she totally hates that :rotfl: ..LA specifically...and what places would be good to take her to dinner??? she doesnt eat seafood or steak so it would need to be something that has a pretty wide menu....i know im giving you a tough one here..shes so hard to please:sad2: thanks:goodvibes

Riverside has the Mission Inn which has some really good restaurants. I don't know if you wanted to go somewhere further away but we love the Mission Inn. I know you said not mexican but our favorite restaurant there is the Mexican one (sorry, i forgot the name right now) it's outside in this nice patio with lots of trees and plants. The food there is a little more unique than at your average mexican place and it's cheaper than the other restaurants at the Mission Inn. They also have a steak reastaurant and another one that has a monte cristo sandwhich similar to the one at DL. Maybe they have a menu online you could look at.

If you don't want to stay in Riverside then maybe Dana Point? Or Laguna Beach has a BJs restaurant (simple food there) near the beach. There is also the aerial trams in Palm Springs that take you up to the top of the mountain (very cool up on the mountain even though you're in palm springs) and there is a restaurant up there (i've never eaten there though). And there are a lot of restaurants down in the middle of Palm Springs too.

HTH!
