Hi,
We are visiting Florida for a month in April, and while we are there it is my sons birthday and he'll be 3. We are planning to do chef mickey at the contemporary resort for breakfast as we've seen the birthday celebration they give and thought it was great.
Has anyone got any suggestions for special birthday dinner Disney or non Disney?
Also any other suggestions for making he's day special while we are there?
Thanks!
ps: No eyeore involved please... for some reason he has become VERY scared and reaks out whenever he sees him?!

You just beat me by one minute asking this question, lol!! So, I hope it's okay if I add to your thread instead of starting a duplicate.

We are arriving on my twin's 6th birthday (one boy, one girl) and I want to take them someplace special that night to kick off their vacation and celebrate their birthday. I have it narrowed down to Ohana's, Chef Mickey's or Whispering Canyon (though I'm open to other suggestions as well). Which one is the best for this event?

What could be more special than spending your bday in the happiest place on earth?
And the CM's will go way out of their way to make your day special!
At each of the theme parks, you can get a free "It's my birthday" pin! Almost every single CM that sees it will wish you a happy bday, and give you special treatment!
Be sure to mention the special day when making hotel resies, PS, etc...
here are some links for some more info....

For breakfast or dinner I recommend Chef Mickey's. The food is great, and it's so much fun! 1900 Park fare in GF is also pretty good.

You are going to love celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World. we just returned from WL and celebrated our granddaughter's 5th birthday and our grandson's 2nd birthday. Be sure to get birthday pins at each park you visit that day. We did the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot for our granddaughter's birthday and that was a big hit and Boma's that night had the most impressive plate with her name in chocolate and birthday cake in the shape of mickey mouse with sprinkles. Our grandson's birthday 3 days later was breakfast at Chef Mickey's and I would definitely recommend that for a younger child. It is very noisy and lots going on and it kept him entertained the whole time. When we sat down there was a plastic coated birthday placemat with all the characters signatures on it. He also received a decorated cupcake with candle lit and sang to by Mickey and Chip and Dale.
At Ohana's they brought him a decorated cupcake with candle and sang, nothing overly special compared to our other dining experiences. The best had to be at Tony's Town Square where they brought out cards signed by Lady and the Tramp (footprints) and the staff filled with Mickey confetti and the desert was this ice cream confection with chocolate and nuts with a candle that was ever so yummy. They sang happy birthday with Italian accents.....so special. Be sure to tell your resort about the birthdays also. The WL did some very special things for our princess.

We just got back from vacation and we went to dinner at Chef Mickeys for my DS 3rd birthday. I wasn't impressed. They didn't sing to him, say his name or anything. He got a cupcake w/ a candle to blow out and a placemat w/ signatures from the characters. The food wasn't as good as crystal palace either! I called about a cake w/ a Mickey face on it and it was $45!

The hotel was the best for my son's b-day. The morning of my son's B-day I left a birthday banner (mickey of course!), tape, balloons, a gift bag full of surprises and a note to housekeeping w/ a $10 tip. We got the cutest birthday decorations! We got several animal washcloths (at least 6), the banner was strug between the lights over our beds, balloons hung up, toys displayed... The wiggles characters were put out, the book was set up...etc! The hotel even gave us extra hellium balloons w/ a card from Mickey and that was the second set we got! The first set we got on the first day! It was very sweet!

We were at Beaches N Cream for lunch and they sang to him and gave him the cutest icecream desert that looked like Mickey Mouse!
