Birthday cupcake

Do all the restaurants do a birthday cupcake? It will be DD5's birthday on our trip. Or do you recommend ordering a cake from the cake hotline? I don't want to do anything too expensive, but I would like to celebrate her birthday at a restaurant.

Many experts can help you get exactly what you are looking for.

To answer your question, most restaurants give you a cupcake for your birthday, just make sure to have it noted on your ressies.
And it doesn't hurt to remind the server that it is your daugther's birthday.

If you want to be certain, order something yourself. They usually have cupcakes but I don't think it's absolutely guaranteed in any restaurant.

You can ask when you first go in (out of earshot of the birthday girl of course) and if they can't do a cupcake, I think most Disney restaurants will let you order a small non-personalized cake.

From what I've experinced if you mention when you are checking in your reservation and ask if they do anything they will.. I've seen the little cupcakes before but some places do a wafferr with icing writing and stuff. Call WDWD and ask them what the particular resturant does for childrens birthdays.

I don't recommend calling WDW-DINE for this. They probably cannot tell you anything about specific restaurants with any accuracy. Best thing to do might be google the specific restaurant and call it directly, but then you may have a hard time getting hold of anyone. Unless you want a personalized cake, asking when you get there may work out just as well.
