Birthday? Chefs de france

Wondering if any has had a birthday dinner (adult) at chefs? We love this resturant, just wondering if they do anything special?

OR would another WS resturant be better? Suggestions please.

We had my DH's birthday there some years ago and they brought him a dessert with a candle.

It all depends on the CM, whether they'll surprise you with something. It's not a guarantee at any restaurant, but more of a fun treat when it does happen.
If you want to be sure you get some sort of surprise, pre-order a birthday cake to come to your table, before your visit.
That's what I'm doing for our ANniversary next month, I ordered a cake ahead of time.

We are probably going to be at BC, so thought about doing the BW's bakery for a cake, and taking to room. With us it will last for a week. So really don't want to carry one around WS. Just wanted a little something at dinner. Have been to wdw many times on my b-day (aug 4th) cause of summer. And had it forgotten, or not even a greeting / best wishes etc... . Just nice to be recognized even if I am not a kid. Even with wearing my button, and sis telling everyone in site we had been forgotten at Tony's at MK, and Liberty tree. We just changed our plans from LTT dinner to Chef's, cause of the resort change. (which is ok by me ).

August 4th. I will officially be on the wrong side of...... yikees. Only good thing about it is being at wdw.

Guest Services. I've heard that MK, Epcot and AK all have pins with a different design, but MGM shares the same design as MK.

Is this still true, DISers?

I'm looking forward to collecting my first pins(just heard of them this year) when I'm there next year for my b-day.

I just had my B-day and went to 3 of the 4 Guest Services to get a pin. 2 were the same - I don't remember which 2. I told the Central Reservations on Villas at WL( she asked me which day) and the morning of my Birthday there were Balloons and a 5*7 personalized card signed by Mickey Mouse To me. When we opened the door my husband said, Kim, look!!! It was a great way to start the day.

We had a dinner there one night and I had a birthday pin on my jacket which was on the back of my chair. The waiter saw it at the end of the meal and brought me over a cake with a candle (which they brought after the creme brule so I hardly touched it) About 5 cute waiters came over to me and sang in French and then our waiter kissed my cheek!

It was very sweet!
