We will be going in September for my DD princess: 11th B-Day. I already have ADR's for her big day. I know that you can get the birthday pins from the parks but is there anything else? Do the resorts do anything? If you have experienced your B-Day in Disney please let me know what happened. I really want her to have a fantastic B-Day, Disney is her favorite place on earth. (Isn't it everybody's)

Thanks for your help!

Make sure to call your resort and tell them. There was an autographed birthday picture on the bed waiting for our DS7 in Sept. You may want to get her hair and makeup don at the new boutique in DTD- prices are not that bad. have a great time!! Also tell them at the restaurant- they may do something special.

My bday dinner was at the Crystal Palace. They gave me a cupcake with a candle and threw mickey glitter all over me and I recieved a card from Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore. When I recently was looking at it I pointed out that I was lucky to get a card the had Figment and Roger Rabbit on it, and my bf said that when he made the reservation they asked him my favorite character (Figment). I am not sure if it was just lucky that that's what they had or if they have multiple different cards to give out there. I also recieved a card in the hotel room, with a photo of the castle in it, signed by Lilo and Stitch and also from my BF which was very nice. Stitch had also taken a bite out of it!!! I am pretty sure he asked them for Figment too but since he doesn't sign he got my second favorites... They said theyd have balloons for me but I never got any. Not that disappointing because there's so much to be excited about there. But Floyd wanted me to get balloons. So just a word of advice it is not guarenteed. Also I got my card the day after we got there, not the day we arrived. When you wear a bday pin EVERYONE says happy bday to you, it is very nice. You can get a new one in every park and so celebrate your birthday for several days!

Also on Splash Mountain my Birthday was announced on the loudspeaker and everyone sang to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never forget that it was so special!!!!!!!!!!!! That's probably my favorite ride also so it was even more special to me.

Hi PandaBear,
Last year I surprised my bf w/ a trip to Disney for his birthday. This year he is doing the same for me (only I am not supposed to know about it! :) ) I surprised him in the room w/ a cake made out of chocolate bars and inside was filled w/ a bunch of other great stuff like pretzles, more chocolate, and candies from Goofy's candy shop) You can order this cake and other things like it at Disney florist website. If your interested I can find the card and find the exact webaddress for you.

It was great, they put a balloon on it and a personalized card.
When you call to make your ADR's tell them that its your daughters birthday and they will tell you if the restaurants do anything special. You can also pre order a cake that cost about $15 and its personalized, usually w/ the name and a bunch of confetti. They will also have a personalized card, but ask about it so you can get it for sure.
I hope this helped.
We will be there in Sept. this year as well, maybe we will celebrate around the same time!

Good luck w/ ur planning and I hope all of her Birthday wishes come true.

It's looks like my daughter is going to have a very special birthday this year. I will definitely call Disney a couple of weeks before we leave to make sure that they are aware that it's her birthday. Do I need to call the resort ahead of time or just customer relations? I know I have to order her cake at least 48hrs ahead of time. When I place the order will they ask about a card or should I ask them? Thanks for your help I greatly appreciate it!
