Birthday Cakes

Staying at SSR, can you order a birthday cake and have it delivered there. Thanks.

We did this in early March. I ordered the cake at the Artist's Palette, they faxed the order to the Boardwalk Bakery, then the cake was delivered the next day and I picked it up at the Artist's Palette. They needed 24 hours notice. Everyone was fantastic with the whole ordering process and making the cake the way I wanted it to be. It was PERFECT!

Yes we did. We originally were going to do a Mickey-head shaped cake, but it turned out that wasn't safe for us (we have nut allergies in our family). So the wonderful pastry chef from the Boardwalk Bakery called me on my cell and we decided to do a 10 inch round cake with a picture of Mickey on it instead. It was perfect!

I know they had many other Disney character pictures to choose from and they had the 10 inch round and also an 8 inch round cake. I can't remember what else. There is a big thread here at the top of the Restaurants Board that is all about cakes in WDW, check that out too:
