Hello!! I'm so excited for you guys
DF and I just joined DVC in August and we're having our first trip home to AKV for our Disneymoon in May. We're staying at Jambo house but I can't wait to hear more about AKV

You are so gonna love Disney during the holidays! I got to go a few times over Thanksgiving break when I was a kid and it is beeeautiful

So are you going to give us any live updates??

I have stayed at both Kidani and Jambo...it is my home resort

I like them both but maybe Kidani a bit more because it is a bit more homey and quaint feeling....you walk in Jambo and get that great window but then usually a really busy lobby...with Kidani it is all that but on a smaller scale and much less of a crazy/busy lobby. (I think it is much busier inside because of the restaurants .....the staff was so friendly and nice ( I was just there in beginning of October) I really did get the feel that I was coming home every night. Very quick walk to go back and forth between both resorts.
I wish I could tell you what room we had...I requested near the lobby on 3rd floor...we ended up with near the lobby on second floor on the right hand side of the savanna. (savanna view) Next time I am taking a picture of my room number!

Thanks for joining in! You're so lucky that you joined DVC! That is definitely a purchase we will make in our future, after I'm done with grad school and have a real job LOL Congrats on getting to celebrate your honeymoon at WDW. I'll be sure to take lots of Jambo house pictures too so you can see them. Not that you haven't seen it there before!

I'm more than excited to see WDW for the holidays! No live updates from me unfortunately but tinkgurl and I talk regularly and she will be giving updates at least once a day, more if she gets a chance.

Glad to hear the good things about Kidani. I've read good things but also lots of people complaining about the transportation and the lack of QS restaurant in Kidani. We really don't have a problem walking over to Jambo House to get the QS food but the transportation I was worried about. I can't wait to get that "I'm home" feeling!!

I want to request a room thats on the bottom half of the E. Do you know what I mean by that? LOL Like Kidani is in kind of an E shape and I want to be on the bottom part because that seems closer to Jambo House. I don't know how to put that into words though to fax it in! Any suggestions?

Only people like us know how amazing WDW is. So many people laugh or wonder why we go so often or love it so much and its something that can't even be explained, I think you just have to feel it yourself.

I can't believe its going to be that many of us! I hope we ALL get to meet and hangout. I really am so excited to meet you and Sidney too. It's gonna be the best. He unfortunately doesn't work for TWC though or else he'd definitely bring you remotes!
