2 yrs ago we were at WDW for DS's birthday. When I made our ADR (then PS) for his dinner at LTT, I ordered a birthday cake for him. We will be at WDW for his birthday again this Jan. I made an ADR for the Garden Grill for his birthday. I told the dining CM, it was DS's birthday. The CM who was helping me gave me the phone number for The Garden Grill and said to call at least 48 hrs in advance to order a cake (there will be 6 of us). I, being obsessive when it comes to planning Disney trips, called immediately. The CM who answered said I didn't need to order a cake. Just tell them when I check in at the podium and that the cake would feed 10 to 15 people. What gives? I told her what I'd been told to do by the dining CM, but she insisted that was all I needed to do.
I can't leave this to chance. What should I do?
