We go to DLRP 5 days after my DD birthday so planning a birthday meal at cafe mickey the day we arrive. I was wondering how much a birthday cake costs and do I need to book in advance?
Trying to work out my budget.

I think it was about 20 Euros when we got one for DD in November. We were given the remainder of the cake in a box to take away.

We booked it in advance but I think you could possibly just ask for it when you arrive

book in advance if u can - ordering in uk means it costs £15 (i think) but when we were there onn the bill it said 22 eur - so a def saving!!!!
u get a coupon for ur cake at the hotel, and then u need to go to city hall and add it to ur reservation (or just make the reservation if uve not already done so) and then make sure u double check when u get to the restaurant!
was worth it - kids were totally gobsmacked and didnt know where to look/what to do - def worth it for that and the lil video i got!!

22 Euros but wory every penny (cent?!).

This was my daughter in Cafe Mickey last Saturday ...

We only ate a tiny slice each, the rest was given to us in a box to bring home.

Oh wow, your DD's face says it all. A lovely cake too. Almost makes me want to pretend it's my birthday when we go.:rotfl:

Thanks, not sure we will finish the cake in 3 days just being the two of us, we could maybe have it for breakfast:lmao: . I think DD will love the surpise and attention from the characters so def worth the Euros.

its my moms birthday the week after we come back and i told her i would get a cake and she said if i do she will walk straight out of cafe mickey :rotfl2:

It's my birthday next Sunday when we are there. I wondering whether or not to do the cake bit & where. I don't particularly want it, but my 2 yr old thinks that you only have a bithday if you have a cake. I still haven't decided, but think the girls would enjoy it more than me!
