Birthday Buttons?

We are going to WDW in October for the millionth time. This time though we are going with another couple who for all intents and purposes have never gone (they went but remember very little).

The husband is having a birthday the first day of our trip, and I would like to give him his button first thing in the morning when he gets up as a surprise (along with some other surprises). I want him to be treated and greeted specially from the first minute he walks through the gates

That said, is there any way Disney would mail me a birthday button in advance? Or does anyone know a way to get one without going to the customer relations at the parks? TIA.

We've been given them upon check-in on previous trips.

I've stayed at bonnet creek three times love it

When my family went to Disney for our 20th Anniversary, I noted it as part of the resedrvation (What are you celebrating). We received our pins when we checked into the Poly.

I'm sure you could get your DH's button at a hotel (if you are bringing your car).

they will give you the button when you check in so he will have it then. and it does not have to be actual day of birthday to celebrate. they ask what you want to celebrate. we do our birthdays and my sisters anniversery...birthdays get a special dessert at TS meals

Thanks everyone. As I mentioned, we are staying offsite. So no way to get it at check in. I also don't want to have to drive to a resort and say "hold on while I go inside and get your surprise". That wouldn't work either.

The good news is they responded to my email and someone is going to send me one. Problem solved. So I can have it for him first thing in the morning on his birthday (which is our first day at the parks).

And it is for the husband of the couple we are travelling with, not my DH. My DH and I will get our anniversary buttons when we are there - I don't need those in advance. We have experienced the "magic" many, many times . I just wanted some extra special magic for my friend since it took some convincing to get them to go in the first place - he thinks Disney is just for kids. So from the very first minute he will be experiencing some
