I saved my birthday button from last year (you know, the big round one that says IT'S MY BIRTHDAY on it) and would like to just wear it again this year instead of having to stop at guest relations again. my concern is that it will be confiscated at the airport. if so it's not a huge deal cos i could just get another one once i get there, but if i know its going to be a problem i won't bother bringing it. i know people say they've had no problem with pin trading pins, but these buttons have bigger points on them. any thoughts??

I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but make sure you don't leave it on you when you go through the metal detector as it will set it off. To be really safe, just pack the button in your check-in luggage (if you have any), then it won't be a problem at all.

i'm not checking any luggage going down cos i have a transfer in atlanta that is very close (about 35 minutes) and i really don't want to risk me ending up in orlando and my luggage remaining in georgia. i think i will just get a new button when i get there, it only takes a few minutes. plus i'll get to see if the Goofy bday message has changed since last year :flower:

YOu will have no problem at all. I carry on all of my Disney pins without a problem. A button will barely show up.

Have a great birthday!

Debbie
