Day 1 December 6, 2003
We were supposed to have am 11:30 am flight to Orlando but we had a really bad snowstorm that shut down Logan. We went to the airport with high hopes but our flight was cancelled. They tried to get us onto another plane to Atlanta just to get us out of Boston. That was delayed about an hour so we got on that plane and sat for about 2 hours they even started the movie. Told us we were next in line for deicing and then came back on the speaker system and said sorry folks, this flight is cancelled!
Called Delta while still on the plane to get a jump on all the people who had to wait in line. Back and forth with different flights and we finally booked one for tomorrow night at 8:30 pm. Called the limo service back and had to wait for our luggage to be taken off the plane. Very sad and aggravating but we went back home for around 4:00.
McClays went back to stay at mom and dads and we shoveled snow and played with Bailey (our dog). Called DVC to cancel the first nights and cancel our second night booked two rooms at All Star Movies for the first night so we didnt have to waste points as we wouldnt arrive until about 11 pm. Decided to extend another night as we were losing two days. DVC was closed so we booked rooms at All Star Pop Century just in case we couldnt get rooms through DVC. Changed flights and the car rental and limo services. Pain in the butt but it all fell into place. It was a really crappy day and I was really depressed and disappointed and the snow kept on falling.
