You can get them at every park. Epcot, MK, and AK each have a different one, but the MGM one is the same as one of the others. They are FREE, and you can obtain them at Guest Services. Have fun!
All the parks have them for free. We were there last week for my DD 13th Birthday. However she was too embarrassed to wear it (teenager!!). My husband and I would have wore in a second.
We were in one shop that was very quiet by the Tiki Room and was talking to the cashier and told her it was her Birthday. She gave her a pin of her choice and even gave one to my younger daughter. Extremely nice of them.
We were there for my daughter and sister's b-day. They each got a badge and I also bought them a guest of honor badge. Every were we went all the cast members called them by thier names and told them happy birthday. They were picked to lead the opening parade of Mickey's Toon Town and so many other things. It was the best trip we have ever taken. They got birthday cards as well.
I picked up pins for my birthday and in less that 2 short weeks (can you tell I'm excited?) I'll be making DH do the same. We're going to do HDD on his actual birthday -- although celebrating the whole 3 days we're there -- and I do hope he's seriously picked on at the show!
Now if we can miss Ivan and Marissa never comes near....
My parents will be celebrating their 59th anniversary while we are at Disney in early December (11/30 - 12/6). I would love to get a badge for them if they have anniversary badges. They are both 83 years young, very spry for their age, & both are kids at heart. I'd love to provide a little surprise recognition for them, if possible.
My sister & I both have Dec. b'days (hers is the 12th, mine is the 21st) so we are combining all these occasion celebrations into this trip. Her b'day will be shortly after we leave Disney...would it be okay to get a b'day badge for her to wear one day while we are there (maybe the last day)? As for me...well, I'll be happy if I can just do something a little special for my parents & sister!
This is a suggestion for your parents anniversary. If they don't have badges for them to wear, buy them a set of the wedding mickey hats. We saw them the last time we were there on a couple celebrating their anniversary and someone had written in the ears what ever the number was and anniversary in the other ear. It was really cute.v they had used glue and glitter to write the words with.
We were at WDW for my 48th BDay 2 yrs ago. We got to the MK in the morning, went right to the Barber Shop to have ourselves "done up right" for visiting Mickey & the gang ( they even put "pixie dust" in our hair. Then we went to City Hall to get the BDay pin - which I wore all day. It was sooooo much fun. My DH had lunch planned at the Land, and they even brought out a little cake and they sang Happy Birthday. Well, we are going back again on Oct 10th for my 50th - and of course, won't miss the chance to wear my birthday pin again. Got to get older, but I don't have to grow up LOL
