Birthday at WL

Has anyone ever had a suprise waiting in the room for a birthday??

The senario is that it will be my mother's 62nd birthday during the time that we are there (middle of trip) I want to do something special but I don't know what.

Any suggestions?? If so how do I go about setting it up and should I let WL know it is her birthday???

I would have it noted on the reservation, but do not expect anything. That is pretty much hit or miss. You can call the WDW florist and have a surprise waiting.

Only when we were at the Polynesian, but we were staying concierge.

I think room service could do a birthday cake.

My Mom had a cake sent to the room for my dad"s birthday. There's a number listed in the room and you can arrange to have a number of different cakes sent. They also sent up plates, forks and candles. I think it may have been through one of the restraunts.
