Birthday at WDW!

Anyone know exactly where I go to pick up b'day buttons at MGM, AK and Epcot? I know they're at City Hall in MK. DS and I are both celebrating birthdays next trip- don't think I'll get him to wear the button- he's a little too old for that (15!) - but I'm not (only 50!)

We were down at WDW on my bday 11/2000 and it was great to be there, but now after reading these posts, it could have been even more special. Wow! Enjoy your special days at Disney.

You can pick a birthday button at any Guest Relations office in the parks. If I'm remembering correctly, Guest Relations is on the left hand side of each park shortly after you enter (at MGM and Epcot, anyhow). Just look on the park map and that should show you exactly where to find it.

Wearing birthday button is so much fun. So many CMs (and even park guests) will wish you a happy birthday...it really makes you feel special!

Forgot to mention if you plan to stay on site put it on your reservation. You get balloons and a photo card autograhed by Mickey. Also make sure to mention it on all your PS.

Please be aware that even though you mention your special occasion on your reservation Disney does not always give out freebies... There are hundreds of guests celebrating something each day at WDW and not all of them will be acknowledged. If you really want to do something special for your birthday plan an event (such as a meal or fireworks cruise) yourself. Then you won't be upset if the hotel doesn't do anything.

i will be making ps's for rose and crown for dh(fingers crossed we might get an outside table for illuminations)and i am going to try and get crt for my birthday if i don't manage that i'll try for garden grill i will mention it also to reservations just in case
