Birthday at Universal

Does Universal do anything special for birthdays like Disney? We are staying at the HRH in 16 days and my son will be celebrating his 12th birthday. Should I have that put on our reservation?

Yes...mention the birthday and you might (not guaranteed, but might) get a popcorn tin w/ the popcorn, candy and sodas and a movie to celebrate. It never hurts to mention the special day....I don't think/know that the parks do anything, but the hotel might.
