We are celebrating my 30th birthday at Disney this year, and have reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table for Dinner. Does anyone know if they will do anything special for a birthday? I am so excited about this, I can hardly wait! My husband is the one wanting to know, but I normally have to do all the research! Haha!

We're celebrating DD#2's b-day there next month. I'd love to know what things they may do or offer for options. I was hoping for the slipper dessert (which we can order) and a mini castle cake (not available unless we are dining or staying at the GF...... how dumb, they don't offer the castle topper for cakes delivered to the castle.......) I don't want a generic Mickey head, the flowers are sweet and all but I can go to any bakery and buy that, and I can't get my child to name a character she likes best.

please don't send me to the cake thread.......I've been back and forth through most of the pages, it's so large they all run together and one person even posted that they really appreciate if everyone would read the whole thread before asking a question because too many people ask the same thing. Maybe we wouldn't if it wasn't to ovewhelming and easier to find what we are looking for.

We had my DD's 7th bday last year @ CRT. We scheduled a late breakfast (10:15) and I'd pre-ordered the Cinderella slipper dessert 2 months prior as well as letting the CM know when I made the ADR that we would be there for DD's bday. Shortly after being seated, our server came over with a certificate signed by all the princesses wishing my DD a Happy Birthday.

After our meal was over, CRT does the wishing ceremony... all the little girls hold their wands in the air and the boys hold their swords up and they all close their eyes and wish... wish... wish..... Well, of course my DD was wishing hard and when she opened her eyes she looked SO disappointed :confused3 I asked her what she wished for and she said the Sherbet Webkinz bunny :confused3  :rolleyes1 I asked her if there was ANYTHING else she'd wanted.... then she remembered she kept asking if she would be able to get the slipper dessert that her younger sister got last year @ Park Fare for her bday... I told her to close her eyes and wish even harder.... then out of the corner of my eye, I saw our server heading toward us with the slipper.... I told DD to wish really, really, really hard..... the server put the dessert down just as DD opened her eyes!!!! :goodvibes  It was truly magical the way it all worked out! I never could have planned it better if I tried! :) She honestly thought that her wish came true!:wizard:

Back to your question... I'm not sure of what the standard birthday celebration is, but that's our experience :)
