Birnbaum's WDW Dining Guide

Any one have the Birnbaum's WDW dining guide, & would you recommend it?

I don't have it, but with all the changes to WDW dining this year I bet it is a bit out of date. I like the menus and reviws over at www.allearsnet.com

Save your money. If you already have the regular Birnbaum's guide, it is just excerpts from that. The best information on the restaurants is in the Passporter guide, IMHO. The Unofficial Guide also has lots of restaurant info, but I have found it to be overly opinionated and not reliable.

Our AAA agent gave us the Birnbaum dining guide along with the regular guide when we booked our upcoming trip. Don't waste your money. It's pretty much useless, just gives the bare minimum official line. I agree with Doctor P... Passporter is probably the best for restaurants. Never underestimate the power of allearsnet.com, however. Deb has some great reviews and having the menu helps.

Thank you thank you thank you....I was just about to ask about what might be available for Thanksgiving dinner and had a couple of questions re: character breakfasts. I took you suggestions, and there is a link specifically for thanksgiving dinner!

justa an FYI there are more Thanksgiving dinners available than are listed. You can call dining and find out. We are eating at YCG where they have a Thanksgiving buffet and it isn't even listed this year.

I just got this book from the library. I agree with above-- don't buy this book. You can get more detailed info from allearsnet or the Unofficial Guide. If you can get the book from the library.. it was nice to look at, I just wouldn't buy it. Good luck with your planning! jen
