Do they all need to chatter at the same time? Do they have to chatter so loud? WHAT are they going on about anyway?:)

Do you have a noise ordinance? I say call the cops.

Maine birds too think that five am is a good time to start their vocalizing.......I yelled one day and told them to move on......Especially those big ugly crows....they are just passing thru on their way to the river.....but give a girl a break and let me sleep in......PLEASEEEEEEE

I don't mind the chattering so much, but the squawking! :headache: I have one that sits outside my window and does this rhythmic squawk-squawk-squawk. He can keep it up for HOURS.

Chipmonks are also early risers around here and they really drive me insane:dance3:

I wish the birds are here would sleep so late. Every morning it starts at 3am.

i know what you're talkin about...i'm thinking about cutting down some trees outside my bedroon window, not only do they chirp and squak then they decide to poop all over my back deck!:furious:

I know! I've been enjoying having my bedroom window open lately but I sometimes have to close it early in the morning because of all of the chirping. :headache:

I was sitting out on my porch the other day talking to a friend at 4:30pm the birds were so loud we couldn't each each other... they are worse than my kids sometimes... but I love the birds.. its not silent like in the winter

We don't just have regular ol' birds going off at odd hours of the morning, we have doves. Their stupid coo-cooing makes me want to borrow a gun from my neighbor and shoot them all.

I've heard they make yummy gumbo. ;)

This thread reminds me of the Friends episode where Phoebe moves in with her policeman boyfriend. She thinks he's perfect until they are lying in bed and listening to a bird chirp outside of the window in the morning and then he pulls out his gun and shoots it. :rotfl:

I thought the birds were a pain too until the Woodpecker showed up!  Now the chirping is not so bad :thumbsup2 . . .

and I now sleep with earplugs.;)

I have the same problem except it is at 2am, when do they sleep?

Mine start at 4:45 and the screen porch roof is right outside my window. That is their preferred perch to sit on and chatter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DH says this is the bird's Salutation to the Sun.

You all are hearing things!!! I can verify all the birds in the world are here in my back yard. And I have the chirping to prove it!!!

I beileve the poop on my car can prove you otherwise... what do they eat :headache: We park under a HUGE old oak tree lets just say some days our car is polkadotted

Same here....except it's just one that starts at 3am. The others at least have the decency to wait until 5am. Every morning at three, I hear that one chirping bird and think "what is WRONG with you?" I'm sure his little bird friends feel the same way.:headache:

The birds start bothering us around 6:00 am unfortunately, these are the ones INSIDE the house.....and they ain't little chirps either...they want their breakfast NOW.... sqwak...sqwak....
