*&#$# Birds building a nest

The fine people at Remington & Winchester have just what you need. Looks like Cabela's has a sale :)

Persistence is the key...We had nest every year growing up in the awning over our front porch. From the constant chirping, to the angry birds, to the dead chicks that fell out of the nest, I vowed to not deal with that at my own house. We have ones try to build a nest every year in our light. In fact, I can hear the chirping this morning as it seems like all the birds came back to town this week. Every time I leave the house I will remove any sticks up there. It has never taken more than three days of this for the birds to give up and move somewhere else.

We'd let them build the nest. Then we'd find a way of watching the eggs and babies once they hatched. :)

That's what we did a few years ago. The Robins built the nest on a second floor ledge. Got to watch 3 chicks fledge. The first 2 were ready to go. The last one looked down and must have said "I don't know about this". Then it say me in the window and took off.

A pellet/BB gun works just as well...and isn't as noisy. ;)

Really? You're going to shoot birds?
