Is it worth it?? MY daughter will be 8 when we go and she still loves Princesses as much as she did when she was 3. We've never done it before, so I'm not sure. If we make a reservation there, how long should we allow between this an a CRT ADR??

Yes, I think it would be worth it, especially if she loves princesses. As for reservations, allow at least a two hour window. At least.

Worth is a relative term but for us, yes, totally worth it! My DD also loves the princesses and loved every minute of BBB. We did the full package in April and including her photo shoot, it took roughly 2 hours.

In my opinion it was definitely worth it. We did it for my dd's 8th bday and it was the highlight of our trip for her lol. We got the cheapest package (hair, makeup, nails etc) and we brought our own princess dress that she was able to change into there and there was a photopass photographer that took tons of pics. I'd say the whole process took about an hour :-)

It has been for us. We’ve been twice. My daughter was 9 her first time and 10 her 2nd time. We had CRT afterwards the first time. We had a 2.5 hour window and were able to come out of BBB, get her photo session done and 2 or 3 rides plus a bathroom break before checking in at the restaurant, but they weren't as busy that day because of Tropical Storm Debby. Not sure we would have been able to do all that in between our 2nd time, but 2 hours minimum is good so you can at least get your photo shoot done.

Both times we got the hair, makeup and nails package. That is the middle one. There is one where you don’t get the nails done, but it’s only a $5 or so difference and you get to keep everything left over. The makeup (eye shadow, blush, lip gloss) and the left over face jewel is bagged up after. You get a choice between 2 colors of nail polish and at the end you get to keep both bottles. They put everything into a cute BBB drawstring backpack. And the crown and Mickey clip do well as long as you are careful with them.

We brought our own outfit both times. My daughter still loves princesses, but didn’t want to dress like any particular one, so her first time since we were going to CRT after, I got her a formal gown in her favorite color. I got it on eBay. It was $20. And she wore her church sandals. I got some Disney Princess accessories on eBay for her to choose that day as a surprise.

The 2nd time we didn’t have CRT and she said she wanted something more comfortable to run around the park in after, so I got her a pink twirl skirt with a sparkly white tank top and a white denim vest. We have this store here called Glitter where they have accessories for $1 or $2 so I got her a long strand of pink faux pearls, 2 bracelets and a ring. And she wore her church sandals.

She was disappointed to learn that she will age out of it. She loves it. Even her baby brother loves watching her get it done. If you have photopass, you can have all of the photo shoot pictures put on your card. For me that alone was worth prepaying for Photopass.

Yes, it is worth it to do at least once. Since she loves princesses and is at a great age for it, I say go ahead. My DD was 8 when we did it and is still one of our best memories.
