Bippidi Boppidi for DD

We are going to WDW in Feb and we were going to have DD8 do the bippidi boppidi boutique. Last week she got her hair cut and I am not sure if it is worth the money now. For all of you that have done it before, can they still get a good hairstyle if their hair is just above their shoulders? Thanks.

Both my DD's had hair in bobs just below their ears when they went and they still had no problems. DD5 got the Pop Princess and DD3 the Diva with the long extensions. My DBF's DD6 also had chin length hair and chose the style with just the bun and tiara and the FGIT was still successful...she just had some hair neatly hanging down in back with the bun on top. The hairstyle really only lasts a little while and it is ALL about the experience which lasts a lifetime. So...go for it!

Absolutetly! As PP said, my daughter went after cutting all her hair for Locks of Love, and they could have done the bun with a small amount down in back. DD didn't like the way that would have looked and chose the Pop Princess so you couldn't see not all her hair was up. She loved having all the extensions, and being able to have red hair to go with her Ariel costume. We went back about 6 months later and DD's had grown to about shoulder length and they were able to put it up in the bun style.

I totally agree with the other responses! It is a little harder, but can be done. We went to WDW and did BBB for MNSSHP in 2007 and then planned on going back in May 2008. Anyway, after getting home after our MNSSHP trip, dd had long hair, she then decided to give herself a MULLET!!!! I about died! I already had reservations for BBB for our May 2008 trip. I called and talked to a CM and told them about our situation and how we had to fix it. They said not to worry that her hair will grow out and if it was not long enough, they could still work with it. They were right! She had a bob just below her ears and they got all of her hair up and put in extensions (pink), of course they used lots of concrete plaster hair gel and spray and lots of bobby pins, but it looked great! DD hates for her hair to be brushed and put up, but she endured this and loved it! HTH.

This might seem obvious (and not what the OP asked) but make sure the fgit gives your daughter the hairstyle agreed upon.
I thought my 4 year old daughter was getting the classic princess look and my little girl told her after sitting in the chair that she wanted the pink hair and they went ahead and did it. I had another daughter going at the same time and did not realize it until it was too late and did not want to spoil the fun - but I HATED that pink hair.

She has had the classic princess done last year with very short, very fine hair.... it can work. Lots of gel, but it works.

DD got the pink extension too. I hated it, but she loved it. It did not match well with the Belle outfit she chose. All that matter was that she had a great time! I wonder if they would do an American Girl doll? DD got one from Santa and she is her best friend, goes everywhere with us!
