Can someone tell me how much the bingo cards are and how many games are on a card? Does the jackpot keep growing daily if there is not a winner? Do they give away shipboard credits as well as money? Was it always crowded or just when the jackpot was large and should you get there early? This time next week we should be enjoying all of the magic. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for us (good weather, calm seas etc). The boards are great and have been a tremendous help.

I can answer a couple of your questions.

On the 3 day cruise the prizes were cash only - not shipboard credit.

Yes there is a big money roll over that has to be won on the last night if it hasnt been before.

It wasnt too crowded when we played, if the weather is too bad outside that they have to cancel any trips they put on extra bingo.

The price is $10 for 5 cards. You play 5 games and there's a winner each time. I believe it was cash each time. We only played the first night. The pot does grow and they will let you know each day.Good luck and have a great trip!!!!!

Just got off the Disney Magic today. The cost for the Bingo cards are as follows: The SINGLE PACK which contains 1 card per game, 5 games for $10.00, the VALUE PACK which contains 3 cards per game, 5 games for $20.00, the JUMBO PACK which contains 6 cards per game, 5 games for $35.00, this pack is sold during the last few days of Bingo. They also sell additional JACKPOT Game Cards: the value jackpot, 3 cards for the jackpot game for $10.00, and the jumbo jackpot, 6 cards for the jackpot game for $18.00. The crew members running the bingo games will explain all the rules.
The jackpot grows daily if there are no winners. They pay you in cold hard cash, no ship board credits.The final jackpot on our cruise was about $5000.00 won by 2 families.
I would arrive about 15 minutes before the game started as it takes some time to sell the bingo cards to everyone who plays. As the jackpot grows I would arrive even earlier.

when do they play?....in the evening?...during the day?....

They play at different times during each day. You just need to check your navigator that is in your room when they turn down your beds at dinner time. We would bring the navigator with us the evening we received it and a highlighter and highlight what we wanted to do the next day. They have all kinds of crazy type of bingo games. I won on the B's and O's. I had to get all the B's and all the O's and when you won you had to yell "I Got B.O." If you yelled bingo, they made you get up in front of everyone and sing a song. Well, guess what stupid me yelled when I won? You got it...."Bingo" duh!! I had to get up in front of everyone and sing, lucky for me it was someone's birthday they had announced, so I sang happy birthday, few...got out of that easy. I won $90 in cash. It was nice as DH and I spent $40 to play and I won it back and then some. They usually do the jackpot the last afternoon you are at Castaway Cay. We go in 6 weeks, can't wait to play again!!!

oh god....that's hysterical....
well i 'll make a point of getting to at least one of the sessions...
we only play bingo on vacation....where we go every december they have prizes....which is also fun (a bottle of champagne...we don't drink....but who cares....the whole thing is so silly, it's fun...although there are always a few who are soooooooooooooo hyper about the whole thing...as if their whole life depends on winning that bottle of champagne, or free fruit cocktail, or coffee in the lobby,etc etc)...
