Did anyone else just watch the Billy Mays Pitchmen Tribute on Discovery?

I admit, I was actually tearing up a little bit. Especially when Sully and Billy's son talked, and when you saw Billy with his daughter.

i was so sad when he died. i loved pitchmen and i loved seeing his commercials. i did just watch the tribute, and it made me cry.

I watched it, very sad indeed, I will miss him. I loved the Pitchmen show.

No, I didn't know it was on. His voice kind of annoyed me, to be honest. Nonetheless, his death was absolutely tragic and unexpected. While his voice annoyed me, I understand it was to make a living. And he did a pretty good job at it too - my mom has used OxiClean and Orangeglow ever since. He was better than that ShamWow guy though.

Yes, he def had the pizzaz! He was a GREAT salesman.

No, the head bump wasn't involved. They said he had some heart issue that was notorious for health problems and stuff.

Yes, he def had the pizzaz! He was a GREAT salesman.

No, the head bump wasn't involved. They said he had some heart issue that was notorious for health problems and stuff.

& He defff wasn't as annoying as the Sham-Wow guy lol.

Oooh. Awe how sad! I know they said he told his wife he wasn't feeling good before he went to bed too. It's a shame they didn't go to the hospital just in case. Like since he did hit his head, they could've got that checked out & found out the other problems. :/

Yeahh, but like with Natasha Richardson, she could've survived if they went to doctor's right away when she hit her head skiing just in case even though she didn't really have any pain. But if Billy Mays went then like they could see nothing was wrong with his head & see his other condition. Idk, it's such a shame.

Well, they should've taken him anyways. He was in very rough landing where he had a head injury, sounds plausible to take him to the ER.

in psychology classes, you hear about head injuries ALL the time. they are SO serious. Any time someone gets hit in the head, its a good idea to go to the doctor.

i don't know if it would have helped him, here, considering he died of a heart condition, i'm not sure if the heart condition (that had been undected so long) would have been detected during that examination, but there's always a possibility.
