I've been thinking of picking up a couple of the products I saw on Pitchman. After they showed how they really do intensive testing on the products before deciding on one, instead of how I thought it was about just being offered the most money to pitch a certain product, I've been looking into the products he pitched again, like Kaboom. Usually, I mute the sound and don't listen to his commercials.

Mays was on U.S. Airways Flight 1241 when it blew its front tires as it landed Saturday, forcing the airport to shut down the busy north-south runway, according to authorities.

Mays had just returned from Philadelphia, where he shot a new OxiClean commercial. He was a passenger aboard a plane that suffered a blown front tire upon landing. He told a local TV station, "All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."

We're told Mays was at his home around 6:00 PM last night, and according to a source Mays was "acting fine and normal ... he was talking business with his father-in-law."

He might have had injuries that he didn't realize.

My husband had a chance to meet him a couple of years ago at a business convention. He said he was a nice guy! He was quite a force in retail and the "as seen on tv" industry. Very unfortunate.
