Bill Hilly and the Hill Billies?

Losing the Billies was a huge loss for us. They were part of the whole DL experience and we would enjoy their show at lunch on the first day of a trip.
The LS is just not the same and frankly, we avoid it at all costs.

I didn't really like or dislike the Billy Hill and the Hillbillies show. I can't say I miss the act, although the members were all very good musicians.

The act I really miss is Dana Daniels and his psychic parrot from fifteen or so years ago. We always saw his show at least once and usually twice during each of our Disneyland trips. I'd love to see Dana's act again.

I had annual passes for Knott's when the Hillbillies moved over there. I watched them three times over there and was disappointed. They are great musicians, but the show at Knott's wasn't nearly as entertaining as the DLR show. I haven't been back in the Golden Horseshoe since they left. I think both DL and the group lost out on the move.

I miss the Billys, and agree that they had a great venue at Disneyland. I do see them at Knotts, though. The show I wish they'd bring back is the revue. I used to love both versions of it.

It's a real bummer since they left. I remember "discovering" them walking by the Golden Horseshoe. We heard a lot of cheering and clapping, walked in and had a great time. Special discoveries like that really make the park special.
