We have similar in Chattanooga every Friday night in the summer where all bikers would gather Downtown and listen music and people would gather to see the bikes. Ours is not slenzy by any means. We have all shapes in size that come to ours and police departmart keep the crowd under control.

I vote yes it's nothing wrong going to see the bikes.

ok i have been to bike week once, and i was only 19 at the time, but there is no way anyone under 18 shouldever be allowed there with out serious adult supervision, while i grant the bikes are nice, and some of the bikers are great ppl. ( one of my best friends is a real live biker, he builds harleys at our local harley shop) hes been every year for last ten or so, but even he says that he hates to see the kids there. kids should not be exposed to that environment at an age they cannot really comprehend everything thats going on.

they cannot really comprehend everything thats going on.
bud, this is a new age...we do know alot more things then you people back then did.

BUD thats the reason i say children. ( by definition those under 18) should not be exposed to some things that go on at an adult gathering like bike week.

Sorry...didn't mean to start an argument...but then again I don't like to be called a child.

i know what you mean:rolleyes: drives me crazy:crazy:

and FroggyinArk, I dont think he was really trying to be rude, he was just stating that we know a LOT about what goes on there than people used to know at our ages:crazy: did that make any sense?!?! but sorry if you think we are trying to be rude, we're NOT::yes::

As much as I admire and trust the two "Tagteens" in question, I gotta go with ABSOLUTELY NOT! I spent a college spring break in Daytona Beach and also got to experience a bit of bike week and yes, it was neat to see so many bikers gathered together on so many cool looking bikes, but there were plenty of other things I wish I'd not seen and wouldn't want you to experience either.

I't not that I don't trust YOU, it's just that I don't trust THEM, that is, the ones who get really 'out-of-hand' at those events. And I'm certainly not saying bikers as a group are bad, I'm just saying there's enough bad ones out there to make the event unsafe at times.
