Okay, I don't know where to post this, but I do have a dvc related question with it, so I'll just ask it here...since you folks seem to know the most about all things Disney anyway!
We are considering renting bikes in January while staying at VWL to take a ride over to FW and check it out. Sort of a 'down-day' for our 2 year old since I doubt a day at the pool will be an option in January. I keep seeing that you have to check back in at the bike barn every hour in case other guests are waiting on bikes. Is this true? That seems rather often if you are wanting to use the bikes for a day. Does anyone think this will be an issue in January (17-26)? Will the CM's wave this rule if it has been a slow week? We are planning on doing this on a Thursday and wanted to ride over to FW, see the petting zoo, pony rides, eat at the Trails End and just tool around. This doesn't seem possible if I have to keep going back to VWL every hour.

Do we get a discount as dvc members on bike rentals? Does anyone know the costs per day?
