Bike & Boat Family Plan.....It's Gone!!!!

We were going to use it on our upcoming trip also. I guess I'll be taking our bikes with us then!

We just bought a bike holder at Sams about three weeks ago. They had one marked down to $50. We were surprised at the price as it is the type that is a metal L shape that hooks onto the hitch. The Sams we got it at in OKlahoma City is already sold out. They never had them in Lawton, OK. We Saw some at the Sams in OKC by the Quill springs mall, they were about $65 there. Sure glad we have it for the next trip.

I am staying at VWL mainly for the boat and Bike plan. I enjoy VWL but may be depressed to be there since the Boat and Bike plan is gone. DH has never stayed there and would have rather stayed at OKW from the start.

The Pool at WL is geared to smaller childen than my teenagers and it is always so full. What should we do. Our trip is in just 12 weeks.

What is going to be cancelled next? Our kids loved the B&B deal!
It seems like every three months something else is discontinued with nothing replacing it.

my wife talked to to the disney people right down at the dock .they told her that they were in the process of getting new boats .when they get them they will have the famly plan again .don,t have a date of when the new boats will be there .

When I talked to the manager at VWL Marina he said he did not know if they would get it back. He did mention that they had new boats and ated as if that was part of the reason they were not continuing the plan. I hope they get some type of a family plan back

My question is what does new boats have to do with anything with the plan? Don't they still have the old boats until the new ones come in? I have a feeling it's a goner!

.... the number of water mice that had to get towed in each day because people were running out of gas ?? We had never seen this till they started the B&B plan. Guess people thought unlimited time ment there was a magical gas tank.

I was towed in for running out of gas. The Marina was not busy and I was not out long. I can imagine how hectec it could get in the summer months.

I do know that one of the most aggravating things for the marina CM's (and waiting resort guests) was that a good amount of people who used the plans did not return to check in at the dock within an hour of time used to make sure others had a chance to enjoy a chance at the wheel. Possibly because the wording on the document wasn't specific, they couldn't do anything about "abusers". I could see it eaiser to kill the old plan and start a new plan that will be more specific and easier to enforce with under a new name.

ok, where have I been?? This is really disappointing as I had always wanted to do this. But, I really never got a handle on how this plan worked. I know you had unlimited use for up to 5 people. Did that mean 5 people in your party could take out 5 boats for an unlimited amount of time for the length of your stay?

Figures...I just found out about it, a few months ago, and planned on getting the Family Plan for our June trip.
