I think I read (or hallucinated) that there are some sort of passes you can buy for bike and water craft rentals for multiple uses during a stay?

Does anyone have any information about this or did I dream it?

Thanks!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. After further research and phone calling (It was hard to find someone at WDW who knew something about this), it's called the "Captain's Plan."

I also found this information on MouseSavers:

  • Captain's Plan costs $125 plus tax ($133.13 with tax). You get 4 hours total of boat and bike rentals, which can be divided among the members of your party. Your party can be any number of people, but they must be specified on the original contract.
  • Unlimited Plan costs $239 plus tax ($245.54 with tax). You get unlimited boat and bike rentals for the length of your stay (up to 10 days), for all members of your party (maximum of 5 people).
Has anyone used the Captain's plan and if so, did they find it worth it? We love renting boats and bikes but on a pay as you go basis we shy away from it as it can get expensive.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Last summer the captain's plan and the unlimited plan were available at VWL but i have not seen it anywhere else :cool1:

we have always said that the resorts are so awesome that we could have a wonderful vacation and never go to the theme parks but haven't gotten the children to agree to that yet actually we have not gotten ourselves to agree to that either (it must be seeing cindy's castle in the background) :goodvibes :goodvibes

if we ever did a resort only vacation we sure would love to do the unlimited plan for boats and bikes ::MickeyMo

good luck and have a wonderful vacation :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We purchased the captain's plan at WL in March. It worked well for us b/c we used the racers and the pontoon boats. If you take them out for 1/2 hour at a time instead of an hour it is better financially (1/2 hour rental is more than 1/2 of hourly rental). If you plan to use this for biking I would say that it is not worth it b/c bike rentals cost $8 an hour. I am pretty sure that it only counts for 1 bike and not the number in your party. Also, the surrey bikes were not included on the plan.
