FTR, I don't have a problem with the "divide and conquer" method either as long as there are plenty of other tables available for folks with trays of food. My issue is when someone grabs a table and ends up holding it twice as long as it takes to eat because ...I wasn't speaking of people who were just sitting waiting but people who were waiting for their food to arrive. Shrug...we will agree to disagree on this one. I would never sit at a table just to hang out and rest and force a person with food to sit on the ground but I am also see nothing wrong with sitting with my children while my husband grabs food as long as there are other tables available. Actually when a restaurant is super crowded we often either find a wall or bench to sit at and one grabs the food or we just grab a quick snack and go back later. Not worth the hassle.
There is just no way im going to risk walking around with 7 meals and no place to sit.
... thereby creating the problem for others that she wishes to avoid for her own special family.
