I ran the mardi gras half, and it was super cool to see them running through the same streets I did, and crossing the same finish line I did (and knowing I smoked their time, lol!) very cool.

Love it!! I saw the clock when they finished said 3:49 and change. Was it a wave start like Disney? Even with waves, I can't imagine that that would add more than 30 minutes. So yeah, many of us have beaten their time. I know that sounds mean, but hey, she wants to be all game, I got game.

I too loved that everyone pitched in to help O'Neal and Michael. And there was good ole Melissa on her own. She did talk a lot of smack, but never quite put her money where her mouth was...........

Shaw's supermarkets has a wonderful store brand instant whole grain oatmeal with pecans and flax seed. About 160 cal per packet. I eat two....b'fast for me needs to be about 350 cal.

Umm, thank you for the advice -- and that actually sounds pretty good! I was actually parodying the spot with Bob and Vicky, where he suggested she eat Fiber One cereal. It's a bad habit I have -- I'm sarcastic about the product placement spots. Just ignore me!

And I agree, I also did the happy dance when Melissa walked out of the elimination room, noticing that nobody got up to give her a hug goodbye. She reminded me too much of Vicky from two seasons ago....that redneck voice and gameplay. Bu-bye and good riddance.

SAME! When I saw the commercial that Melissa was coming back my heart sank, because I was so glad to see her leave. But seeing her leave a second time was even better

I think it is ironic. She was all about "playing the game" but this season, she was just playing the WRONG game. And I think it's true more often than the game players realize. You are always better off having people NOT cheesed off at you when you hit that elimination room, and nothing cheeses people off more than ruthlessness and gameplay. Sometimes they make it through, but all it takes is a little bad luck and off they go without even a friend to hug.

It took us 3 nights to get through this show - I kept falling asleep.

Just watched, and couldn't be more pleased. A great episode, and I was also totally psyched to realize that though I am much larger, I am faster than Melissa! If it was Disney I would have said maybe she stopped for a photo with Maleficent...

You are too much! I'm sorry, I just don't see the same resemblance I do with Melissa. You are more of a Lilo girl -- breaking a few rules with a good heart, not trying to take over the Kingdom!

Great photo! It reminds me that I asked for more pictures from your trip and I didn't ever see any more! I love this picture. I love to take pictures with the villains, but some of them are hard to find.... like Maleficent! I'd be super excited if I saw her in the park!.............P

Aww - thanks, Maria! I would say more of a Lilo girl by dint of adopting stray animals and believing that they can be reformed. I am also more likely to get my feelings hurt and subsequently sulk by not being invited to a party rather than having a huge 18 year long freak-out with revenge and spindles and turning myself into a fire breathing dragon! (Thank goodness)

Oh yeah - here's what happened - I got sucked into this whole scenic painting mess right after that, then was out of town and then got dragged under by all the continuing scenic painting. How about if I just post the link to my Facebook Princess Half photo album? You can look at all the pictures and I might even have captioned some of them. I have promised a race report elsewhere as well and it just hasn't happened yet.

ETA, after so many pictures at the 5K, I seriously told myself that there weren't any characters I would need to stop for during the half. Well, that lasted until I got to the Magic Kingdom. And then after that I told myself I'd lost enough time, and wouldn't stop again....well, that lasted until I got to Maleficent and Jack Sparrow, and I couldn't pass them up. In spite of what it looks like I did skip a FEW characters on the half marathon course! I was so excited to see Maleficent!

Did I already say that I loved the water challenge? I loved that. And that having people LIKE you was helpful.

Plus also did anyone else think Allie made a dig at Melissa reminiscent of the comment Melissa made to Miggy regarding the penalty pound? I thought that was cold, but kind of awesome.

Hi All
On another message board I follow, someone mentioned that Daris and Cheryl George had run the 5K as part of the A2A Marathon/Half/5K in Ardmore, Oklahoma on March 28. Daris complete the 5K in 21:43 and Cheryl completed the 5K in 47:54. http://www.onlineraceresults.com/race/view_plain_text.php?race_id=13658

Because even had she not had it, her smaller loss would have put her below the yellow line.

I wonder if Daris was trying to be nondescript to avoid being recognized because he is still "in the game" at least on TV. It was tough to tell it was him because of the black had and glasses and all black outfit.
