Biggest Loser Season 12

Is this man a God or what?

I really like the new format, and like the two new trainers a hundred times more than Jillian. I think Anna is really sincere, a good hearted person. And Dolvett, well, see comments above....

I agree that Debbie should have been the one to go home if what we saw from edits is the way it really played out. She also tried to throw the other older lady under the bus. Not nice.

Dolvett is a trainer here in Atlanta. He has my friend on a very strict regimen and she has to hit her goals by December. I'm willing to bet she's only there to hit on him!! :lmao:

but did anyone notice how FANTASTIC Allison Sweeney looked? Has she dropped some weight, too? Wonder if she has to be at certain weight to be host... :thumbsup2

joining in. I did miss the first episode, but plan to catch it on hulu

Some people don't like her but I do. I've particularly noticed that fans in other countries aren't wild about her style. But her record stands for itself. Her contestants win.

I totally agree with you. :thumbsup2

Dolvett needs to take his shirt off. I liked Anna. I thought she pushed her "old people" enough. I only miss Jillian for her yelling. But there was way too much crying in this episode and it kind of felt disjointed...

I thought the exact same thing. Everyone was crying. I guess I just don't get it...........but really??!!

Again I agree. I thought the same thing. She looked fantastic.

I can't wait for next tuesday.:cool1:

If I could have a trainer I would pick Dolvett in a heartbeat. I'd pick him over Jillain or Bob or any of the other BL trainers. As soon as he got off of the chopper I was like "he's who I'd pick as my trainer."

ETA: It was the first workout. Why no puking?????? lol

I have meetings all night so I won't be able to watch. :sad1: So please let me know all the details tomorrow. In other words - take notes. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Did it bother anyone else that Bob is now Black. I know it is silly but why isn't Bob blue anymore.

kae

I don't know but I did notice in that he looks really good in black. ;)

I've been craving little gem donuts all day and just realized why.....

I can't really get into this season...not sure why. I don't really care for the contestants, no one jumps out at me. And it's not the same without Jillian.

I hear ya. I don't feel anything for any of them either. Hopefully that will change as time goes on. I really think it's something to do with it being singles rather than couples.

That ex-football player is darn lucky that he didn't hurt the woman next to him when he had his "fit" on the spin bike! Sooooo dramatic - and what's with the shaking when he gets upset??

I fast-forwarded through the weigh-in, so I don't know if I missed any significant dialogue.

I felt bad for the long-haired guy on the red team. He seemed really shocked to hear he had diabetes. Do you think the medical team knew about it for a while and waited to tell him until the second week? If so, that seems highly unethical. (Don't they have a very thorough physical before even being officially selected for the show? Wouldn't they have known about it sooner than now?)

I don't care for Anna. She tries to look emotional, but doesn't pull it off very well. The other new trainer seems much more genuine. I think I am going to like him much better than Anna.

I thought the challenge was weird, and not very "physical."

I don't miss all that kick-boxing from last season!

I liked the kickboxing well enough, especially when compared to the weird piece of equipment that looks like pedaling a bike with the hands.

I wasn't able to watch on Tuesday, please tell me about the challenge and who were the 2 eliminated in the "double elimination"? TIA

I got the opposite impression. Anna seems very genuine to me. When Jillian would cry in past seasons I would just roll my eyes because I never believed it. She was a great trainer but a sweet person she was not. Anna seems like a very sweet person but so far I have not been impressed with her as a trainer.

I love Dolvett! I hope they keep him around for the eye candy factor alone. :goodvibes

Bob singing in the morning was classic Bob. And what is with the comb-over he is now wearing? He's the best trainer there though, he is a good mixture of tough but caring. He would be my first choice too.

So far my favorites are the 50 year old woman (Becky?) who lost her father and Patrick, the young guy on the 20-something team. He is already so handsome, I look forward to seeing minus a couple hundred pounds. The old lady is getting on my nerves, would not mind seeing her go soon. I also like the other older man who was celebrating his wedding anniversary, he seems like a tough old man, I bet he will make it far. The lady on the black team with the knee problem is so pretty, unreal that she didn't realize how big she is. She will be a knockout once she loses her weight.

There wasn't two eliminated. One of the blue guys went home. I think his name was Mack?

Bob would always be my first choice. I think Anna is a sweet person, but I think Bob would be pushing that group a lot more. Just because they are over 50, there is no reason to baby them so much. If this continues, Anna will have no group left.

Bob is in black to honor his friend Jillian. He says it's really strange not to have her there.

Also, it's nice to know the new trainer guy is from Atlanta. I am doing a local bootcamp in my area. I may reward myself next year with a few sessions from Dolvett. I am only two hours away, and my in-laws live up there. So I could always do a session and then spend the night with family....
