I am a weight watchers lifetime member who gained 45 pounds during pregnancy in 2004 and am still struggling to lose that weight.
I never hit lifetime, but WW helped me very much pre-wedding. Then I too had a baby in '04, lost all but 5 pounds (to where I was at the wedding, which was still about 25 lbs more than I want to be), let that bother me, and after DS turned 2, I gained it all back. I'm now almost what I was when DS arrived, which is scary, b/c I gained 60 lbs during pg.
I can't believe I let that 5 lbs bug me, especially since it was likely all held in my bra, LOL. I just couldn't see that then...but the pix of me from then show skinny little arms and nice legs...just a big ol' chest. So frustrating!
So I feel for you (and me).

I'd like to join, but I've never done this posting thing before so I don't know what he meant by "PM" my weight to someone. I'm lost in the "follow the above instructions"! Help!
You do have to get something like 10 or 15 posts, before you can PM, by the way.

I want to join!
A few months ago we finally ordered our finances so we could join a gym, and we've been going! Oh I missed exercise, but I really do need a gym for it. Walking hurts my body, and running is too difficult right now being this heavy. The elliptical is lovely.
I only recently was able to get on scale...if someone had been filming me it would have been hilarious for about 2 weeks. I'd step on with one foot with the bar set all the way at the heaviest, then quick skim it down to zero, seeing sort of where it went level. Later I'd do that with two feet. I think once I got on with my gym bag including DS's wet swimsuit and towel, LOL. I just needed to "flirt" with the scale, get an idea of where I was, before confronting the ugly truth.
Anyway, now I can stand there and mess with it without the horrible shame. Though I try to do it when there aren't other people around.

So I'm in!
