Wow :cool1::cool1:Amazing...simply amazing:cool1::cool1:

I have been on the disboards for awhile now and have always browsed the W.I.S.H. section! I have recently started my weight loss journey and just wanted to introduce myself! I know that this Challenge is almost over but in a way I almost to the end of the Biggest Loser challenge that my family and I have been doing! I can't wait to join in on this with the next one that starts up!

Welcome:welcome:

Good morning everybody.

Congrats to all the top 10 this week. I just realized I forgot to PM last week's weight. Got on the scale but never sent it in. Must have gotten distracted with the dog or something. Will weigh in on Sat. this week and see where I'm at.

I tell ya I must walk around in a fog sometimes, a really dense fog when it comes to this challenge:rotfl: I have been doing this challenge since Jan/Feb? And ONLY NOW do I realize that to find the QOTD the quickest way is to check the QOTD thread, not scroll back through however many posts are up because some ppl answer them all and some like me only answer some of them. I have to step up the brain power for the next challenge. And to think i volunteered to be a coach during the next go-round:lmao:

Anyhow, I actually have no answer to today's because it's been so long since I've been to DW and we really didn't need Fast Passes on our last trip. I must get myself rolling now. Its about time Onslow's had his walk. He sat outside for awhile this morning but we usually go for for a walk now, and the kitchen is a disaster. It was so dirty I added to it and made Onslow some scrambled eggs for breakfast. I figured what's 1 more dirty pan when the whole kitchen is dirty anyhow right?:rotfl:

oh BTW: if anybody wants to friend me on FB I'm Maureen Wick. There's me and DH in front of a chocolate cake in the pic.

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back from the World! DS and I arrived back late Monday evening and this is the first chance I have had to hop over here.

I haven't had a chance to read what I've missed, but I will catch up today.

DS and I had a wonderful time. It was HOT and humid, but we are okay with that. Friday the heat and humidity were bad at AK, but I think Saturday was the worst. By Sunday the breeze was definitely drier, even though it was still really hot. But no rain at all, so no complaints from us!

We had a few new experiences (like meeting Jiminy and riding Toy Story Mania!!) and did lots of favorites (TOT, RNR, Space Mtn). We absolutely ran ourselves ragged. Saturday we ended up back at the hotel for a few hours for a refreshing swim, but I still ran out of steam by 11 that night. Sunday we left Epcot and went back to the hotel... DS took a two hour nap!! But we wanted to be strong for the evening EMH that night at the MK and it worked! We were getting off Splash Mountain at 1:05 am and could have kept going!

The Hilton at DTD was terrific. We found out when we arrived that we were upgraded to receive a free breakfast in the "club" room, so that was nicer than the Cheerios and instant oatmeal I had brought along! Of course, it means I ate many more calories for breakfast than originally planned, but in the long run it probably prevented me from having to buy a mid-morning snack most days.

It was definitely not a "stop and smell the roses" kind of trip. We were moving constantly. In fact, I commented to DS when we were at the airport to return home that we could finally slow down! It seemed like we moved in high gear for four days straight! I wore my pedometer faithfully every day and here is what we walked...

Friday... arrived at AK before noon and then hopped to MK in the late afternoon. Walked 11.5 miles.

Saturday... Morning EMH at Hollywood Studios (second car in the lot!) and then to hotel to swim in late afternoon. From there we hopped to MK for the evening (Wishes). Walked 15.5 miles.

Sunday.... at Epcot for rope drop. Left about 3pm to go to hotel for a nap. Up and in HS for Fantasmic show by 6:30 pm. After Fantasmic hopped to MK for evening EMH. Departed MK about 1:20 am. Walked 17 miles.

Monday.... at MK for rope drop. Departed about 3:15 pm for airport. Walked 9 miles.

As you can see we did plenty of walking! I can't imagine how many miles we would have logged on Sunday if we hadn't taken that break... but there was no WAY we could have survived for evening EMH without that nap. DS was really dragging.

As far as the food goes, I was good and bad. I started strong on Friday with eating salads and fresh fruit. Saturday I did okay.... but by Sunday I was allowing more splurges. I shared a piece of cheesecake from the French bakery with DS. And despite my efforts to avoid it, I did end up eating a Mickey bar... the whole thing!! :scared1: (DS doesn't care for them and didn't want to share).

I guess the "good" report on my eating in the world would be....

no fries... I never got fries with my meal (although I did eat a few of DS's along the way).

No burgers or dogs (don't care for them much anyhow).

No alcohol (although I was tempted once or twice).

lots of water.... I got free ice water all over the place!! And it was fine. Not yucky at all! The only time I bought bottled water was at the Hess Station near my hotel.

fresh fruit.... I bought apples along the way a few times. They were pretty decent.

salads.... I enjoyed several nice salads with dressing on the side. Mandarin chicken salad at Yak and Yeti comes to mind first.

The NOT SO GOOD part of my eating....

Mickey bar (nuf said).(but it was sooooo good!)

Cheesecake from France... but I did share it. Wasn't as good as I hoped, but DS loved it! Wish I had gotten a lemon tart.

Turkey leg.... ate two... one on Friday and one on Sunday. They were dinner, not a snack. But I KNOW they are very salty and fatty. But they were delicious (and made me very thirsty!).

Diet Coke.... gave it up over two years ago, but needed the caffeine on Sunday and Monday!!

Carmel corn... bought it for a Fantasmic snack... didn't realize DS doesn't like it and of course I ended up eating most of it myself!! Not as good as Cracker Jacks either.

Pizza.... DS wanted to eat at Pizza Planet. I should have ordered a kid's meal that has a smaller pizza, but I wasn't thinking ahead. And I did end up eating the entire individual veggie pizza I ordered. Should have only eaten part of it.

Breakfast... having that nice breakfast there at the hotel was great, but I definitely ate MORE than I would have otherwise. But I didn't go crazy... I ate hardboiled egg whites, turkey (lunch meat type), coffee, and oatmeal.

I got on the scale Tuesday morning and it wasn't terrible. I was up one pound from my weigh in the previous Friday (at which I was also up about one pound). So two big weekends away and about two pounds gained. Not terrible. And I am back on plan. I went a few points over yesterday because I didn't count properly in the evening, but I didn't go crazy. And I am on track today and already did 96 minutes on the TM. It feels great to be back on track and back in control.

I'll post some pictures from my trip another day. DS and I definitely made good use of our Photopass... I haven't looked at them yet, but probably will tonight. Aside from the "florida frizz" that happens to my hair, I think the pictures will be good!

I'm going back to now to try to play catch up with this thread! TTYL.........P

QOTD: DD1 and I are usually the FP runners as DH gets bad blisters everytime we go. At MK we usually head to Space Mountain. Definitely will do that in December as it will be DD2s first time on the ride!. We usually have a game plan. I will be working on that as soon as December hours are released. I wore a pedometer on my anniversary trip in 07 and walked 9 miles one day. I plan on really using int in December.

Having a good day! Eaten all the right things and not feeling deprived at all! Of course we're going to McDs for supper but I have my calories for the day worked all out so I can have a decent dinner. 7 miles down and planning 3 more after supper. Also drinking my water.

Gotta run to the ATM and then pick up DD2. Dancing and more cleaning later.

WOW:cheer2::cheer2: I was actually in 2nd place this week. I really can't believe it. Congratulations to everyone else especially flipflopmom. :cheer2::cheer2:

I wore a pedometer once to Disney for a 7 day trip. I put it on at my home the morning we left. The only time I removed it was in the room at night. We did all the parks and of course DTD and we cover the whole park. My husband and I can move we leave all others in the dust. No slow pokes here. Well when we returned to Orlando Airport at the end of the week my pedometer was flashing 99 miles. My son thought it was the best thing. 99 miles over 7 days is 14.14 miles a day. I think that's pretty damn good. Of course I came back gaining 6 lbs, but that's ok. I have to live my life and enjoy it at the same time. On vacation I do watch my eating but not to the extreme, if it's there and I want it, then I have it. Especially the malteds at 50's Prime Time, I could live off of those.

I am so pumped to see my name in lights. It's a great start to my day. Hopefully my trainer kicks my butt at boot camp this morning. Only 19 more days till my gym switches over to the new program, which is no more classes:sad::sad:

Wow 14 miles per day!!

Congrats on your 2nd place!

Welcome!!! You'll love it here. Tell us about your BL family challenge, are you all doing? What are you doing for it?

Congratulations SarahMay!!! 100 pounds!!!!! Whoo hoo!!!!!
That clippie looks amazing on you!!!

Congrats to Flipflopmom!! :cool1: this weeks biggest loser!! I hope this is the beginning of some stress free, injury free days ahead for you and your little one. The poor little thing has had quite a week.

Congrats to all the top 10 losers!!! :cheer2: You all are an inspiration to me.

I have actually tracked my food, exercised every day but one, and drank all my water this week. I did get on the scale and have lost what I gained last week, plus a little, so I need to really concentrate on sticking with the program. Sometimes I find that when the scale has gone down midweek, I think I can splurge a little more, and go a little crazy and undo all my work. I am determined not to do that this week. Just finishing my healthy bkfst, and will head to work soon. I'm picking up my new grill this afternoon, so we'll grill tonight, which is alway good.

qotd-I didn't know it was that far to toontown or the btmrr. Interesting. I have run for fastpasses when we're with other people, but only after we see the opening ceremony, and i wipe away my tears.:rotfl: Michael and I tend to go to Buzz first, and ride as many times as we can til the line builds, and then we hit fantasy land or big thunder and splash. I know I walk a ton, because I eat a ton too, and every trip, I've come back with minimal weight gain, so that tells me we're moving. I think another reason I don't gain too much is my overeating tends to be in the evenings, and in disney, we're in the hotel room alone, with no kitchen, so I can't be raiding the fridge, so that's good thing.

Jennz- hope your having a better day. Always better to come vent here than hit the kitchen. You're doing a great job as coach!:thumbsup2

Lisa- Hope you're internet is up soon. So funny your house is looking so good without the internet. I'm sitting here, knowing my house is a bit of a mess, but need to get caught up here first. It will still be there when I get home from work.

I forget who asked a few days ago about running bras, but I bought the Enell sports bra, it's hooks in the front with like 12 or so hooks, and I was totally amazed at how much support it gave me. I had never run in the past, and even a little jog in the park would cause me pain on top, and I truly do not even notice them when I am running with this bra. It was about 54 $, but being on the large side, worth it.

Have a great day.:)

Don't do it!! You're not "ahead" of the game because you've eaten healthy for a few days and it's not a score-keeping type thing, it's continual. I say this because I sabotage myself this way too. Every day is a new day - look at as blank slate that is independent of how good or not-so-good you did yesterday. DO NOT SABOTAGE YOURSELF!!!!

I'll have to check out those bras. I got a great masher bra from Nike but I almost strangle myself getting it on - hooks would be helpful!!:goodvibes

And my vent here did keep me out of the kitchen last night. Thank you!!;)

Good morning everybody.

Wow all that walking adds up!!! LOL about the Florida frizz!! Growing up with it, when I moved north I used to complain about how flat my was up here!! You know I think they've changed their water processing down there...my parent's water used to be as nasty as WDW and now I love it, drink it right of the tap. I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures, it sounds like you two had a great time. Welcome back!!

Your 9 miles sounds right on with what others have posted....wow!! Great job planning McD into your day. Sounds like you got your energy back today. :thumbsup2

A friend just called and wanted to know if I wanted a pretzel from Auntie Anne's...ummmm yes of course! But I am choosing not to have one. I didn't plan it into my day (I said this before I read Tig's post but I believe we are all being brainwashed :worship: ) Walked the dogs extra long today, got my sculpt workout in and my back is just a little tight, not hurting, and am going to go do some WalkIt Out.

Good lookin' clippie :cool1:

Mazie:
I have the no-phone blues too. On Sunday my 5 year old put my BRAND NEW phone in the microwave and turned the microwave on. He said he was mad because I was texting during the Blackhawks game. On my birthday he peed in a box containing 1000 Legos and on Mothers Day he put my phone in the microwave. I can hardly wait to see what he does to me on the 4th of July.
Jennz: it's always something like this he has to physically whap things that weren't meant to be whapped! so now there's dust on the floor. That just put me over the edge for whatever reason.
Yes husbands must whap.
QOTD: Walking at the world...is anyone here their family fast pass runner? I am for ours! Today we're visiting the Magic Kingdom - woo hoo!! Where are you going first? What's your game plan? Now...estimate how many miles you walked...it's 1/2 mile from the entrance to Space Mountain, Big Thunder, or Toontown, so figure 1/4 mile from the hub to the land. They say people average 10 miles/day on a Disney vacation...has anyone worn a pedometer? I'm going to wear mine next time.
Yeah I think I'll bring my pedometer--just for fun this time. Yes I'm the fast pass person--when I can wrangle husband ticket away from him.

Welcome back Pjlla!

Thanks for your support with Harvey. He's doing great. It's funny I opened the back gate last night to let the cats roam at night (safer that way) and he was not even interested in outside. Can't say I blame him. Today he got out when I took some trash out and he just climbed up a tree that's by the fence where the wicked old witch lives and watched over there until he came and cried to be let in. Husband's going to put up the chicken wire on her side this weekend. Meanwhile I'm cut back at work because the boss needs to work 5 days again due to finances and rather than close 3 days I asked to just give one of my shifts to the college kid who needs it. Closing 2 nights a week is bad enough. Also my husband is saying he needs new tires. Guess I will re- organize the cupboards and freezers this weekend and clean out the fridges. I still have a lot of food to use up. Will start dumpster diving college campus pretty soon.
Wasn't going to this year as I wanted to start going to bed earlier and up earlier in practice for Disneyland but looks like with the vet bill, new tires, and work cutting back I'll need to. Also I've been staying up till 2 reading anyway lol. Plus it's great exercise. They throw out a lot of food or it wouldn't be worth it--canned & boxed stuff and essentials, food, over the counter meds, cleaning stuff, too much practical stuff to pass by. I only got 121 for my gold but hey--better than a kick in the pants, and they'll send the non gold stuff back free.

Thanks Jenn. I won't do it. I just ate a package of cheetos, and almost had another. I'm not even hungry. Duh. Thought I'd hop on here instead. I will not sabotage myself. And I wrote it down. Tracking is so key for me. Even though I'm the only one who sees what I write, I don't want to write down those out of control eating binges, so they are always less when I am tracking. Nice job jenn, on declining that pretzel. I love auntie anne's.

Pamela- Welcome back. Your trip sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing the details. It is making me excited for mine in august. I think you did awesome with the food. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed that mickey bar. They are one of my favorites. One january trip, it was so cold, but I got one anyway, and I just didn't enjoy it because it didn't get all soft and melty like in the heat. One pound per weekend is nothing, and sounds like you're right back in the swing, and it will be gone in no time. We did MK night emh one trip, and it was so fun, and we practically had the park to ourself. Michael was 7 and so thrilled to still be out til 2am. Of course we spent the day at the hotel, and didn't go out til 5pm.

Michael has a friend over and they're playing the wii, so I have some bonus computer time. Have a nice evening.

Good job avoiding the extra Cheetos.:cool1:

DS and I did marathon shopping again today. I feel like I've walked a hundred miles. My left foot is sore and I can't figure out if it's from my run this morning or all the shopping we've done the last two days. We found a suit at Macy's, a sportscoat at Kohl's, and he also got two new shirts, 2 ties, 2 pairs of Khakis, a polo, undershirts, and new shoes. In addtion we made a trip to BBB for kitchen stuff which I paid for here and he'll be able to pick up there for his new apartment. I still need to hem one pair of khakis for him, but thought I'd take a little break!

I ran 4 miles this morning at an 11:04 pace. I also did a mile on the elliptical as a warmup for the run. I'm really hoping my foot is sore from the shopping/walking and not the run. Tomorrow is going to be an off day so that will help. DH and I are still debating signing up for the Wine and Dine 1/2marathon in October. He will have no problem with it, but I can't decide if I want to do it if I'm going to have to walk some of it.

Congrats to all the Losers!

Pjlla--welcome back! It sounds like you had an awesome trip!

Have a great evening. Time to go hem those pants!

Jennz: We did get the walk in. Glad we didn't go later as it was hot out when we went walking. So it was probably shorter than he wanted but he was hot. And then we came in and I found out he had an accident in his room:headache: Number 2 on the carpet:sad2: While I know it needs to be replaced its not going to be replaced for a year or more. I would prefer he have his accidents on the paper in the room. Bother. I need a book on doggy nutrition. I really need 1 of those.

So the walk is done, workout is done. Just the Power Fit today cause there was so much left to get done. After that we dove into cleaning the bathroom, kitchen and vaccuuming Onlsow's room and my bedroom. Still need to dust and clean the floor in the living room/dining room. Gotta find time to do that 1

I'm feeling so great today! I just completed 10 miles with Leslie Sansone! I guess you could say I'm addicted but I guess exercise is a good addiction to have! I also gave a hot stone massage today and stayed at around 1400 calories for the day.

The hard part will be the weekend as it's DD1s b'day weekend! Party on Saturday and Chinese food on Sunday with ice cream cake. I'll be baking the next two nights: Angel food cake, sugar cookies, birthday cake, and I know I'm forgetting something. I think I have also earned a drink at some point. I plan on getting in some exercise on Saturday morning and hopefully on Sunday when we try out the Walk It Out game.

Time to go do some more laundry and clean up for the night.

Hope I'll get in 10 miles tomorrow! Planning on 4 miles at 5:15, 3 at 7:30 and another 3 in the afternoon!

Have a great night! I should sleep well tonight!!!!!

WELCOME BACK pjilla - sounds like you had a GREAT trip!

QOTD: Walking at the world...is anyone here their family fast pass runner? I am for ours! Today we're visiting the Magic Kingdom - woo hoo!! Where are you going first? What's your game plan?

Well, we usually visit MK 3 days during our trip. It just feels...special. On a normal day, we head to Dumbo at RD, then either Peter Pan or teacups, 2nd first one morning, one 2nd the next, knock out fantasyland, then move to Haunted Mansion, get FP's for Splash and BTMRR (DD2 is too short, so we use hers to maximize FPs, Rider Swap (thanks to doconeil for teaching me how;)) I give up. Different plans different days. We manage to fit it ALL in, though! Sometimes DH is FP runner, sometimes it's me.

I'm feeling so great today! I just completed 10 miles with Leslie Sansone! I guess you could say I'm addicted but I guess exercise is a good addiction to have! I also gave a hot stone massage today and stayed at around 1400 calories for the day.

Your committment to exercise amazes me!

Just spent an hour and half digging in the dirt with DD2. We planted some stuff. It was fun! And she didn't get hurt! :woohoo: Stayed OP today, hope it shows in the am on the scale!

Night everyone!

DH (doconeill) is going to want to join the WISH boards with all this love, flipflopmom! He laughed when I told him he made the boards again! If only he could get us a FP for our waitlist for BWV or BCV!

I just had a small dish of lemon lime sherbet and still drinking my water!

Come on BRUINS! They are playing lousy AGAIN! This is getting frustrating! We put on our shirts and that's not even helping!

My commitment to exercise comes and goes, fortunately it has come back again. It has been harder the closer I get to my goal weight to stay committed. I just sooo want to get there. I really want to change my clippie to 50 pounds! SarahMay has inspired me with getting her 100 pound clippie! I'm so impressed! Pretty sure it won't happen this week but I would love for it to happen before the end of the challenge in a week! Just need to keep the metabolism rolling this weekend despite DD1s birthday and having Chinese food! I will be careful with the cakes as well.

After soccer practice tomorrow we are going to the school basket raffle and ice cream social. I am going to skip the ice cream totally!!!!! Would hate to blow it on a Thursday night!

I think what I really need is to skip a weekend completely! Lately our weekends have been busy with parties and lots of food! If I didn't have a weekend, I wouldn't spend part of the following week trying to get back to where I ended the previous week! Our google calendar is way too colorful lately! Memorial weekend is the least scheduled weekend and that even includes a b'day party on Saturday. No weekends free until end of June!

My brain is on overload so I think I'll close this before I start to cry in PAIN:scared1:

Good night all!

Welcome back, pjlla!

QOTD: Walking at the world...is anyone here their family fast pass runner? I am for ours! Today we're visiting the Magic Kingdom - woo hoo!! Where are you going first? What's your game plan?
Yup, that's me!!
At DHS, I USED to run to RR first but now I go straight to TSM, while DH and kids ride ToT (don't flame me but while I love rides, that's not one of my favorites so I don't mind missing it). Once I get the FP, I wait for them (or they wait for me) and we all ride RR together...

At Epcot, it's Soarin'. Of course.

In AK, we go straight to Expedition Everest, get FPs and ride as many times as we can.

Because the kids are getting older, MK is a little more laid back for us. Space Mountain was closed the last time we were there so that will be a focal point for us on our next trip. But, thank God, Dumbo no longer is!!!

I've been relegated to lurking alot this week. It's been a stressful week at my civilian job (trying to settle some older cases, plus our Gov has been threatening furloughs, layoffs, etc etc as a result of the lack of a NYS budget), the work for my "part time" military job has exploded (working almost every night at home on yet more cases...), my DH was told his teaching job is being eliminated and we've had no responses to any of the resumes he has sent out, and my parents returned from FL (where they snowbird from Jan - May). I love my mom but her favorite phrase is constructive criticism" and right now I am not mentally ready for it... To top everything off, the crazy pace of life has cut into my exercise time. Hopefully life will slow down next week...please, please??!!! :lmao:

But I was THRILLED to make #10 this week - after gaining last week!!! :cool1: And wow, Sarah May and everyone else who is still going forward!! Yay, us!!!!:cheer2:

Time to get back to work. Have a great night everyone!!!
Jude:goodvibes

Hi guys! Welcome back Pjlla. Your trip sounds amazing. I am so jealous! I am debating if we should go in December or not. Dh will be home from work that month and our 10 year wedding anniversary will be in September, which he won't be here for, and i thought about renewing our vows at some chapel in Orlando and celebrating at the parks. Your trip makes it sound even more tempting.

Dh is maybe coming home at the end of this month! :woohoo: but :scared1: too! He will be on unemployment for June, july and some of August and thats very tiny compared to his usual pay. I have some put away, but I am always worried about money. Yuck!

On a happier note, I did well with food today. No exercise, but my plan is to go to the gym tomorrow. Maddie (my 1 year old) is going to go into the nursery for the first time, so we will see how that goes. She has not been informed that the doctor that delivered her did indeed cut the cord, so she thinks she has to be permanantly attached to my hip. I know I give in and hold her too much, but she has had trouble growing and gaining weight so I constantly worry about her. Kids! Think of all the money and sanity I would have if I wouldn't have had them!!! ;):rotfl:

I hope you are all doing well. Have a great night!!!

Good morning everyone. Been a little crazy here. Ds2 came home from college on Sat and will be heading back this Sunday. He will be working with a professor in the engineering dept setting up equipment and learning how to run it.

Then the costumes I worked in Feb and March were nominated in 2 different places, one in the county and one in the state. We still don't know what we are going to do about them so that has been keeping me quessing.

I started writing a retirement speech for a friend's party at the end of the month. We have been working together for 33 years so it is difficult.

Walking on DW. I have worn a pedometer a couple of times. I know that one day I hit 25000 steps and there was a couple of days where we hit 17000 and 19000. So 10 to 12 miles are the average.

Eating and exercise has taken a back seat this week. Hoping to do better the next week.

Have a great day everyone.

Good lookin' clippie

That makes me so mad about your cat!!!! You know it was that woman don't you? And can't do anything?! How frustrating!! I'll send dd and her peeps over and they'll yell at her.;)

I saw a show about dumpster diving, I could NOT BELIEVE the kind of stuff that is thrown out! I've got an old ugly ring and small broken gold chain I was going to sell, probably won't get much but like you said - better than a kick in the pants! Who did you use?

I know what you mean about not wanting to write down binges...seeing it in print is not pretty. That's great that you had the park to yourself on EMH! It's so hit or miss, but I think in general they are busier now than a few years ago. Some friends went to an EMH at the MK last summer and were in line for 1 1/2 hours at Space Mountain! At 1:30 in the morning. :scared1: Sorry - I would have left.

I'll bet you had fun shopping with DS. I would imagine those times are more special as they grow up and need you less and less. How's your foot today?

Jennz: We did get the walk in. Glad we didn't go later as it was hot out when we went walking. So it was probably shorter than he wanted but he was hot. And then we came in and I found out he had an accident in his room:headache: Number 2 on the carpet While I know it needs to be replaced its not going to be replaced for a year or more.

The heat really gets to the dogs quick doesn't it? I'm sure he was just glad for any walk! Not fun to come home to a mess though...especially right after walking him. What is Power Fit?

:worship: Oh I just saw you haven't tried Walk It Out - girl you will be walking for hours! "Just one more building..." Plus you'll get your rainbow in the sky...

Just spent an hour and half digging in the dirt with DD2. We planted some stuff. It was fun! And she didn't get hurt! :woohoo: Stayed OP today, hope it shows in the am on the scale!

Night everyone!
Taryn

Hooray on a hurt-free day at your house!!! :cheer2:

Jude you have so much going on!! pixedust: for you. Mom's helping out...sigh...my mom always knew a "better way." :rotfl: It's hard to roll with it with family, they know how to push your buttons.

FYI as the fast pass runner you should know...AK to Kilminjaro is .9 miles. ;)

:lmao: You're funny!! Congrats on a good food choice day.

Money..it's always something isn't it??:headache: I'm still trying to find out how to get someone to sponsor my life.:rotfl2:

Congrats on the nominations for your costumes!! That's great!!:cheer2:

Writing that retirement speech would be hard for me too...good luck.

Thanks for posting your pedometer amounts, they do fit right in with what people have been saying. I didn't think 10 miles was true, thought it was too high but now I'm thinking it's pretty accurate. No wonder I'm so tired!

I am on my second day of feeling good with a lot of energy...I don't want to jinx myself here but I haven't had this energy level in over a year. I stopped taking my lexapro 1 1/2 weeks ago and I'm wondering if that is related. I actually did not feel like I needed to crawl into bed last night at 8 AND I woke up today 1/2 hour before my alarm. Hope this stays with me!

I'll be back with the QOTD...meanwhile pixie dust to all who want it pixiedust: and extra for those who need it pixiedust: :goodvibes

Good morning. I got a bonus exercise session in last night. The dad of michael's friend offered to feed him supper so I could go to the gym with the mom and take a body sculpting class with her. We got there a little early and did the elliptical, and then the class was an hour, lots of squats and hand weights, and it was fun, but I'm a little sore today. Last day of the week, and I'm in recovery today, so I'm committing to staying away from the doones again. If I write it here, I will do it. Want to see a loss tomorrow.

Graciesmom- hold that little one as much as you and she want. Before you know it, you won't be able to pick her up.

Dona- congrats on your costumes. Nice to see all your hard work appreciated. We all have those weeks, and next week will be better for you. I am doing much better this week because of the cow, so thank you.

Jude- :hug:Sorry to hear about all the stress. I hope things improve soon. Congrats on 10 # gone!!!!

Tracey- I love to have a weekend with nothing planned, but they don't happen very often. You and the exercise still amaze me. I don't think I could do 10 miles of Leslie!! You rock!!!!

Taryn- so glad you and dd had an injury free day!!

Octoberbride03- sorry about your pooch's accident, but thank you for the reminder of why I don't need a dog. ;) My son would love one, and I think about it, but we're not home all day, and I don't think it's fair, but the thought does enter my head at times.

Rose- Congrats on running 4 miles, and the 11:04 pace is awesome!! I think you should do the half with your hubby. I know what you mean about not running it all, but you'd probably be able to run most of it, and it's ok to walk some too especially if it will keep you from hurting yourself. 13 miles is 13 miles whether it's run, walked or crawled. I've taken to taking walking breaks in my running lately, and find my body is not as sore after.

Have a great day.:)

That is so nice you are feeling so good. Meds can have so many different side effects, you never know. I think your active, healthy lifestyle has something to do with it too. :thumbsup2
