jen great job on your run. I am so impressed with everyone who runs. I know I can't do it with my bad knees and ankles. I want to be able to walk for the rest of my life. I will stick to walking.
flipflopmom Cleaning all that time is amazing. I don't have the attention span to keep on task. At times I think I am ADD because I lose interest on some things fast.
How old is your daughter? I don't have girls but I have heard the same kind of problems with people who have girls. Hang in there it won't get better immediately but eventually.
luvbaloo I remember soccer and I loved when they had an early morning game. I hated when we had a 1 pm game. You couldn't do anything in the morning and the afternoon was shot. I am not a big fan of sports. Ds1 did it till 8th grade. Ds2 did it till 2nd grade. I was not upset when he stopped.
Have a great Mother's Day everyone.
to those who have lost their mothers in the last few years.
I am leaving in a little while to visit mine. My mother is helping her church group have a bake sale. She is not working the 10 am mass so I am going to go to 8 am mass with her and after going to breakfast with her, my dad and my sister. It was also my parent's 56th anniversary yesterday but I know my mom and sister were too busy baking to go up and visit. Then I will come home and relax. Dh is going to church at our church with ds2 (who came home from college yesterday for a week) and then they are going to see dh's mom and mow her lawn. Ds's are going to see Iron Man this afternoon and then I have to decide to what we are going to do for dinner. It may be as simple as subs from a local sub shop.
Have a great day everyone.

to him!
I complain when DD's gymnastics meets aren't over until 7. Of course, they are usually on Sunday followed by a 3-5 hour drive home.

. I can't count points if we're paying $24.95
Today's question is in honor of our moms...share something about your mom, a story that you will tell your kids and grandkids about, a personality trait that she passed on to you, something about her that makes you smile...whatever you feel inspired to share!
She developed her own pizza recipe when we moved to FL from Chicago and there were literally no pizza places around; my mom taught me how to make it and I taught dh; one time she was visiting and Andy made the dough and it didn't turn out right, my mom tasted it and talked about it and decided it was the salt - and she went on and on and on, well you get the picture! That was over 15 years ago and that's still our joke if something doesn't taste good "must be missing the salt!" our family joke now.

Hugs to those who are missing their moms too.
