WOO HOO! I didn't like him for awhile after the whole choosing teams incident, but after that seeing him open up made me really like him. I think it's great that a heaviest conestant won. We've seen so many of these heaviest contestants leave with so far to go. I thin kthat will be motivating for future seasons for those very heavy players to know it is possible.

I believe they pick their own outfits. I read Ali's book and she talked about picking out her own outfit.

I missed the first 45 minutes of the show -- my DVR stopped. So I missed Shay. I will watch this week on the rerun...

I am really happy with the result! There was a time earlier in the season after Michael picked the blue vs. black team that I didn't like him. But I am so about face now, he has really come a long ways. I guess he has earned the right to wear those spray painted on jeans, but they were sort of tacky. But then again, next to the skull belt, they were very classy.

I was bummed for Drea, to only lose 8 pounds since she went home is a bummer. And that dress was so hideous.

Miggy looked awesome, I felt sorry for Migdalia. Migdalia clapped for Melissa nd Lance, Miggy did not which was to be expected. Bob and Jillian probably won't be keeping in touch with Melissa, they clearly still don't like her!

Sherry looked good but was very thin. Shades of Helen for sure except I like Sherry more and I really wanted her to win that 100K.

Koli looked catatonic about the whole process. Like someone who just got off a plane that was about to crash but landed safely. Drained. I sort of worry about him, he put so much into winning, and I hope now he can just maintain and enjoy his life. To this day, I still don't know why he had it in for Stephanie and I wonder how they are now since clearly they see a lot of each other. I was hot and cold with him and clearly a lot of other people were too. I don't think he looks as healthy as some of the other contestants.

Bottom line, if you play games or come across badly on the show, and you have to rely on America to vote you into the Final Three, you are in trouble. Koli and Heba should go out for cocktails and lament the 150K their mutual personalities lost them both, alhtough I liked Koli so much better than Heba.

Although I was rooting for Ashley, I really would have been OK with any of the final 3 winning. Good job to all of them!

Koli: WTH? He acted soooooo weird, was he sedated or something? Was he just acting like a child? I'm glad he didn't get into the final 3 because he definitely rubbed me the wrong way and he obviously did so to the majority of America because he wasn't voted in.

Too bad too, because he would have won...

Oh yeah, Sherry looked so little! I'm so glad of all of them.

Did anyone notice that look on Stephanie's face after Sam weighed in? It's almost like she was expecting him to propose to her. Two couples in the past did so on the BL finale.

Michael looked totally confused, like he thought that number was wrong. After he won, he looked like he could barely walk down the steps.

I think Michael has a whole lot of excess skin on his legs, and that's why the jeans looked the way that they did, and why he still walks so odd.

Very pretty! She didn't look the least bit happy that he made the final three. I think she and Daris were thinking he had a better chance if he were an at-home player.

I was disappointed in Shay too. 10 pounds a month with (1) all the food support, (2) all the work out support and (3) all that motivation. Really? Was 10 lbs a month all you had? She is very pretty, though.

Let's throw even MORE money at her to try to get her to lose weight. How much "real" time has she been trying to lose weight? Does anyone know? She has a LOT of excess skin also. That can't make it very easy to get around and exercise, let alone stay motivated. I won't be surprised if she does not run the marathon. But hey, they didn't give her a time limit. Even if she WALKED the whole thing and finished in 10 hours, that would still be $520/hour.


I thought Sherry looked good. She is one of only FOUR contestants that are in the "normal" weight category. Miggy actually has a lower BMI than her. I thought Cheryl looked GREAT.

Nine of the contestants are still in the OBESE category, including Darrell!

I loved Darius. Even though he lost, he was still "pulled together". He looked so good and happy.

As to Mike the winner, he did a great job. Even though he was not my favorite I hope he does well. He truly looked happy.

I have to say something about Miggy, since I love her. She really looked good.

Yes but at 10# a month she has a better chance of keeping it off. And wasn't she working during this. We all know I was never a shay fan but maybe she will keep it off & stay heathly. Eric looked good. And the first gal to weigh in that did it all at home she looked great.

Well America voted for Darius. Now the question was would I have preferred Koli winning over Mike?

I don't know. Koli was not my favorite but I didn't hate him or anything. Mike was not my favorite. Hmmmmm.....Koli's personality was just "off" or something. He really needed to sell himself better in the show.

That was the turning point for me too. That and the way he was with Stephanie when he voted her off.

At times he really reminded me of Ron and the way Ron played. Both of them played games and would do anything to keep their respective partners on the show.

I also had to laugh at the way he was so angry at Ashley and others who voted off Sam. Even Jillian took up for him that next morning saying something like "you voted off his partner". And how many times did Koli vote off other people's partners? What was the difference?

Although if Ashley had voted off Michael, she would have won (providing Koli was also not in the final three).

Koli seriously looked like he could go postal last night. It was weird and I am betting he'll be running his mouth off to anybody who will listen about how wronged he was.

Good point about MIchael's excess skin and those jeans. I noticed that both his legs and the twins are sort of bowed out at the knee. Maybe just all that pressure from so much weight has affected them permanently.

I also noticed that only a few (Miggy, Melissa and Sherry and maybe a couple of others?) had normal BMI's now. I think a few were still considered obese vs. just overweight on the BMI scale.
