Biggest Loser 8 Fall Challenge -- for losers and maintainers!

I lost 1.2 lbs this week -- was hoping for something with more of a "wow" factor for the first week, but happy with any elevator going down instead of up! :teeth:

For me:

1. Gardening (have a black thumb so I want to just learn how to do it, but also do it organically, along with how to attract butterflies and birds).

2. Learn and Practice Yoga for relaxation

3. Scuba Dive

4. Sky Dive

5. Learn Photography
 
1. Learn to play and/or Texas Hold 'Em. I am passing up a fundraising opportunity because I am too afraid to try to learn how to deal!

2. Play the piano.

3. Fix a flat on a bike. (I'm afraid to go too far away from the house for fear that I'll get a flat!)

4. Sew

5. How to work all my electronics (upload pics, make dvd's, etc.)
 

1. Travel to New Zealand and Australia :fish:
2. Learn to weave
3. Play the piano
4. Find an excersice I enjoy
5. Design my own home ( have designed many in my head…)
 
QOTD:

I've always wanted to learn more about:
(1) estate planning,
(2) would love to speak a second language fluently,
(3) wish I was more artistic,
(4) learn how to play tennis, and
(5) have even a basic knowledge of how the stock market works.

good question today -- I'd love to learn how/be able too

1-Speak spanish fluently (great one! thanks calypso for idea!)
2-be more efficient in digital photography software
3-learn sign language
4-crochet -- started to teach myself but not consistently
5-become a pastry chef

dispor -- hold 'em is easy concept -- especially if you already know poker!

Calypso -- i keep forgetting to say "THANKS!" for the super cute clippie!

and FYI -- i started a BL show chit-chat thread
 
I had a gain of .6 this week. Not what I wanted to see after a week of staying on track & getting in my exercise.
 
Well, I'm down a pound. :cool1:
I am so gonna watch that movie today. Ok so what is cb and with those clippies is that what you want to lose or what you have lost?

1. I would love to take photography classes. I love taking pictures and
have 3 cameras from small carry in the pocket book one to a middle size
and one that you can change lenses.

2. Would love to learn more about and work with gorillas

5. Cooking like some of the chefs on tv, lol.

I was down .5....but for me that was good so I am pleased. I have been at the same number for two months but losing inches so seeing another number was a good way to start the day.

Sorry I didn't get around to posting yesterday I was gone all day to a workshop and then was very exhausted in the evening!! I did post a loss this week! I was very excited about that!!!

5)Always love to learn more about scrapbooking!!!

1 week from today I will be leaving to head to DISNEY YAY!!!

Good Question! First off I am down 1 lb this week. I am ok with that.
Yesterday's QOTD: My first trip to Disney World was in 1985, I was seven. We had such a great time! I really do remember seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time! It truly was magical! I have been there 14 times since.

Today's QOTD:

1. Learn how to run without feeling like I will pass out! :rotfl2:
2. Cooking. I want to learn how to bake better and healthier!:teacher:
3. Try new exercise classes and not be afraid. :yay:
4. Someday become a member of the DVC. pixiedust:
5. Learn how to salsa dance! :dancer:

Did you know that if you eat an automic fireball you drink a lot more water. :rolleyes1 I'll do anything to get in my 8 glasses of water in. :rotfl2:
 
I'm very happy with Nintendo. My WiiFit broke early last week, and the warranty was expired. I called them up to find out how to fix it. It cost me $60 including shipping. We sent it out Tuesday and they ended up just sending a brand new back and it arrived today! They had said it could take 2 weeks, so 3 days is very nice. Now I can do my weigh in tomorrow:thumbsup2

Congratulations on your weight loss. I think I found 2.10 lbs of it. :sad2:

I don't know if it's because I wasn't really eating while dh was sick and now am eating a little more, or because I have had the gkids this week and have been eating with them or just I'm not trying as hard as I need to. It's probably the last one, hopefully I will do much better next week.

Thanks again Luvaboo for being this weeks coach and to MelanieC for being our new coach. Hopefully next week I can make you proud.

Thanks for being this weeks coach:banana: That's a great question.
1 - psychology - I took some in college to get the evil arts credits so I could finish my science degree, and I actually really enjoyed. I think its fascinating how the mind works.
2 - needlework - I can do many crafts (sew, knit, crochet, embroider, etc), but am not an expert in any, and I'd like to try spinning and weaving eventually.
3 - travel more - I want to go all the way across Canada one day.:cheer2:
4 - stock market
5 - fly an airplane

See that's what's great about it no alcohol involved. :rotfl: Just one of those little red candies that burn your mouth up. The more you suck on it the hotter is gets.
