I made a smoothie this morning that was pretty yummy...
it's not an actual recipe... i just threw it together.

1 Kiwi
1 Banana
1/2 Mango
1/2 Apple
1 WW Vanilla Yogurt
and about a dozen ice cubes

I tried to figure out what the calorie count would be... I think the whole thing was around 320 calories?? I could be wrong though...
it made about 3 cups and had a milkshake texture to it...mmmmm

I really like the 100 calorie packs... but I don't think it has the same affect when you eat 3 packs in a row :rotfl:

I'm very sore from exercising :yay: It's a good sore :thumbsup2 We had another sitting today, man and I worn out! Time to go to bed. Good night all :flower3:

Good job with the excercising. :thumbsup2

Well, I finally took the Real Age test. My calendar age is 24.6 and apparently my Real Age is 16.4. Which explains why I still get carded :lmao:

It said I should eat more veggies, more fish, basically more of the things I can't afford to buy at the grocery store. *sigh*

I've continued my running/walking/whatevering and tried a new DVD yesterday, the NYC Ballet workout 2.

Good morning!

I blew it this morning. I came downstairs and my hubby had brought donuts home last night. I ate one. 230 calories. I need a good kick in my rear.

I can't believe I was so weak. :confused3 Now I have to try and make up for it with exercise. :yay: I'm not going to let it spoil the rest of my healthy day though. Back on track, starting now.

Hope everyone else has a much better morning!

Mary

Good Thursday Morning Everyone. This is the last day on this thread. I will be starting a new one tomorrow morning so be on the look out for it.

I worked out again this morning. ANother mile done. That is 5 mornings in a row and for this year that is a record.

Don't have much time to talk this morning. I have been fighting with a copy machine so I am behind schedule.

Have a magical losing day pixiedust: pixiedust:

Whew! So far so good this week with my eating (though I did have a few too many almonds on Tuesday, but not TOO too many!)

Unfortunately when I tried to do stairs yesterday (5 flights to a meeting) I ended up having an asthma flare! NOT good... I do fine with the walking and exercise bike, but those stairs did me in! Guess that if I do stairs it should only be one flight then a break, hmm?

Oh well... today is a new day! Happy losing!

I am doing OK. I am getting excited and nervous about the new job on Monday! I have been enjoying my days off this week and getting ready!:thumbsup2 AKA relaxing!;)

I am so happy.... I made all of my ADR's and tour reservations for our upcoming trip!:goodvibes I even got Cinderella's Royal Table!princess: I am so excited, I can't wait!:yay:

I took 8 flights of stairs today instead of taking the elevator. I went from the 1st to the 3rd floor at school for a total of 59 stairs. Then I went from the 1st to the 3rd floor in the parking ramp for a total of another 40 stairs.

wow, that is impressive!:thumbsup2

I count my wine at 14 points it is 2 points for 4oz's :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wow, I'm only allowed 18 pts per day...that doesn't leave much room for cheese and crackers...does it? :rotfl:

I bought the Leslie Sansone...Walk Away the Weight video yesterday and did the 1 mile workout twice ( plus my 10x10 body toning). Tonight, I go for the 2 mile. I'm a little sore but not bad since I have been really pushing the 10x10 toning body toning program I set up. A friend is bringing me TheFirm video...so will try that on Friday.
I ate really well yesterday...but am still holding on the those extra 2 lbs I gained over the weekend when I started intense body toning. I keep hoping one day I will hop on the scales and suddenly be -4lbs. I know the excercising has to pay off soon.

PS...went shopping at Walmart yesterday and bought some really comfy flip-flops that look like crocs for only $6.39. I also go a cute PJ set, they have disney characters. I got the "grumpy" shorts and t-shirt...since my DH says I'm a real grump in the morning before my coffee!
Have a great day everyone and keep wiggling the jiggle. Terri

I did well yesterday hour step class and a lean cuisine for dinner. Kids come home from college this week end so we will have to start cooking again.

Good luck tomorrow every one.

Sounds like you have the right attitude....don't let one choice affect the rest of your day! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Since you mentioned Leslie Sansone, I have a question...do you walk around in your house? What is her workout like? I'm curious...can you describe it to me?

18 points isn't a lot, that's for sure! I really struggle when I get down to that level.

Good morning all!

I did well diet-wise yesterday, but did not get in any activity :sad2: (unless walking 'round the grocery store counts!).

Everyone have a good day...stay on track! We can do this!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks for the cheers!!! That helps a lot. That is what is so great about belonging to this group, we can encourage and motivate one another.

I'm extremely impressed with the determination in this group! I think you all rock!

I hope everyone has a healthy and beautiful day!

Mary

On this DVD....you do the workout, basically in front of your TV. You walk at different paces, in addition to knee lifts, kicks and side steps. You also use light (2lb) hand weights for the last half. My new DVD came with rubber balls that you fill with water to use for the hand weights. This workout only takes 18min, including cool down. The video has 3 workouts on it..1mile, 2mi ( 35min) and a 3 or 4? miles (47min.) I'll let ya know tomorrow about the 2 mi. after I try it tonight.;)
Yep.....WW says to lose I'm at 18pts, and to maintain it's 22pts. I usually save my flex pts. for an occasional glass of wine on the weekend....or sometimes sneak in a margarita. I'm trying to teach myself to drink my margarita without salt....but it's just not the same.
PS. I have discovered a refreshing treat....the Wylers Italian Ice. They come in the plastic tube, like a freeze pop. There are 4 or 5 flavors in a box. They are suppose to be natural fruit juice, 50 cal. and no fat. Nice to have on hand when a sweet craving arises.

I actually went to Pilates and went running yesterday! but I ate two whole foods cupcakes. :rolleyes1 I am sure they were ridiculously high in calories, but at least they were organic! ;)
I had a light dinner to make up for them, so I am not overly concerned. I thought through the cupcake purchase to begin with, so they weren't a regret. And that is a really BIG step for me!

Reminder all. Tomorrow is weigh in and is the last day for the exercise challenge, so keep those miles, stairs and new activities coming!

Keep it up everyone! Today is our "Last Chance" Day. Have a last chance workout, or eat great at your last chance dinner. I can't wait to see LESS of everyone tomorrow!!!!

Oh wow...I can't lift my arms above my chest hardly. I knew the workout yesterday was intense but not that much!!

I'm scared about getting on the scale tomorrow...I've done SO much better this week with diet and excercise and if it's the same or more I'm going to be so bummed.

THANK YOU for the smoothie recipes, I'm going to print them out and try them over the next few days. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the review on the DVD - I appreciate it! I may have to check it out.
