I had a pretty good day yesterday. I got on the bike and wasn't sure I could make it past 20 minutes. So, I did 20, took a small break and planned to come back and do 10 more. When I got back on, I ended up doing 25 more for a total of 45 minutes instead of 30! My challenge is looking pretty good other than the fruits/veggies. Maybe I'll make a run to the store and see if I can squeeze in another pair at the last minute.

Looking great everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS Carri :teeth: !!!

Congratulations to my BL Buddy, Carrie. I was in the Top Ten Week One and now Carrie is The Biggest Loser this week! Wow! Hope to return to the Top Ten along with you next week, Carrie.

agnes!

Congrats carri!!!!! And I made the top ten whooohooooooo.

Keep it up every one.

Flafan don't get discouraged. Every pound helps. You body needs some time to get used to a new way of eating. it will work in the long run.

Have a great Thursday.

Congrats to all the top 10 losers!

I stayed the same this week... I haven't checked in because my DD has been home sick and a little clingy (where is the Bounce when you need it) So I still down 4.5! Hoping for more this week but I am going home to my parents and they make GREAT food... so I will have to be good!

Congratulations to all of the top 10 this week. And to everyone who is still here, still working on getting healthy!
Woot! Way to go buddy! #2 2.696% mudnuri - Brandy:banana:

I made it to WW WI this morning. Officially in a NEW DECADE!!!! Bye, bye 170's!!! I still have a long way to go... and 1.2 to get back to my pre-cruise weight in May/June 07 & 7.4 to go to reach my WW low weight which was in 2003!:scared1:

Congrats to all the Top 10 Losers! :worship:

A special congrats to my buddy Sue who is # 4! Way to go Sue! :cool1:

This week has been a struggle for me. I was sick for most of the week and did not exercise. There is 5 days left to the next WI so I am going to work my butt off and hope that helps me drop the pound I gained and then some!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Keep up the great work!

Michele

First of all, HUGE kudos to my buddy, Julie!!! Woohoo!!! :woohoo: I am so proud of you!

Next, woah!! You guys are so talkative and supportive! I LOVE coming back to the weekly threads and seeing how everyone is doing, but am resigning myself to NEVER catching up this week.

We are back from 6 days at Disneyworld which included 2nd successful Full Marathon completion! :goodvibes We also had our first session with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings to plan our January 2009 vow renewal. The week was full of great times with great friends and all too much food.

I didn't get back in time to weigh in for this week, but immediately got back to healthy eating this morning and am hoping to do well for next week's weigh in.

Thank You GoldenGourd! :worship: I did it! (I added it to my siggie). Thanks again & good luck this week!:woohoo:

I think that's an excellant way to look at it! Slow and steady wins the race. All of your hard work will pay off in the end. And to borrow an earlier comparison, that's 40 sticks of butter that won't go on your Disney trip with you. Keep up the hard work!

Thank you :goodvibes Bye Bye butter -HELLO bikini (not really but a girl can dream can't she) Looks like you are on a roll.
This thread is AWESOME :)

Wow! Awesome job to all of this weeks SUPERSTARS!!!:cool1:
You all are inspirational!

As for me, I had been on track the past couple of days, and then today this train just completely derailed.:confused3
I had a very rough morning, bunch of cranky kiddos, and was so set to just EAT when I put them down for a nap. Then I checked the boards first and got a PM from my buddy, acourtwdw, that was much needed.
That held me together for a couple of hours, then I got a phone call that just completely put my stress levels over the top. And then I ate.

Isn't it crazy how much "better" it makes you feel while you are doing it? Only to feel sad and guilty later...:sad2:

Well, I have to tell myself what's done is done. If I'm good the rest of the week and over the weekend, I should still have a loss Tuesday, but it is just so hard for me to pick myself back up again.

I have to tell you guys, I am nervous! :scared: I am actually starting TaeKwonDo tonight!!!! DS has been a black belt for 2 1/2 years and DD is 1/2 way to her black belt. We have been going to this place for 5 years. Well I have always wanted to do this ever since DS made black belt. I always put it off with "when I loose the weight I'll start", well, I guess I decided to do something drastic to kickstart my weight loss and I signed up. What was I thinking?:confused3 ;) The master instructor is very nice, but very tough. We already discussed my modifications that I should do (I can't do jumping jacks, run or pushups on my knuckles) He just wants me to get in there and get moving. I don't know how welcoming the other students will be, and I imagine some of the ladies will be snooty. :snooty: I just hope I don't feel too embarassed. And I pray my uniform fits. :rolleyes1 Ladies I am VERY overweight. I mean VERY overweight, I am so afraid that I will look horrible in the big white uniform. Insert big Staypuff marshmallow man image. any hugs will be appreciated as I start this new endeavour. Even Master Vorpahl sensed it and told me to be "brave". :worried:

Great job everyone... this weeks a new week!!!

SunDAY, MonDAY, tuesDAY, wednesDAY, thursDAY, friDAY, saturDAY... See, there is no someday!

I LOVE that quote!

Cam, congrats on the full marathon! That is awesome. That mickey medal sure looks special! And that is pretty cool regarding the meeting with the wedding planner. That must have been pretty fun!

party: congratulations carri on being this weeks biggest loser! That is awesome!:woohoo:

Princess Vija - We are all in this with you... You already tackled the first challenge which was to make the decision and sign up. Have fun tonight and realize that yes, you will make mistakes and yes, you may feel like an idiot at times, but you are doing something to make you feel better and to satisfy a need to learn something so embrace it and enjoy it... If I can put on a swim suit for my aqua aerobics class, you can put on the white uniform for your class.... Let us know how it goes...

Goof

Vija - just dropping in for a minute here.

You hang in there and go do this for you! Forget everyone else.

Believe me, I know how you feel. I put myself on the starting line of a major race at nearly 350 lbs, like I told you.

Instead of the "unbelievable failure" I thought I would be - just look at the support I got.

As I also put in my report of the Disney experience, I had "gazelles" shouting words of support on their way back to the finish line as I was pushing forward.

I bet that more folks will support you rather than ridicule you, and , if they do the latter, they have more problems than you.

Maybe they'd like to strap on 100 lbs and try it!

I continue to "race", as you know, despite my size because I love it. There are undoubtedly some that feel I should not be there, but who cares about them?

It only matters that you are doing it and we all have to start somewhere.

So keep your head up high, put on that "marshmallow" suit as you call it, go do your modified moves and write to me later.

Linda :cheer2: Yeah Vija!

P.S. If there are any "gazelles" on this list, keep shouting out the words of encouragement, it means the world to folks like me and gets me to the start line.

:tinker: :donald: :dumbo: :mickeyjum
