We've been geocahing a few times and it was a lot of fun. I would love to have a GPS of my own to really try it out. When my dream of been a full-timer (RVer) comes true, that will definitely be something we do! For anyone that doesn't have a GPS, check out letterboxing too. If I remember right that one is more of clues that lead you to the box and you stamp the site book with a personal stamp and stamp your book with the box's stamp.

Hi, I have a few minutes and I thought that I would explain by what I mean about family.

Hope everyone is having a great day. Vija I wish I could take a nap but I never got to the grocery store yesterday so on my way home I need to go.

sorry to hear about your family stuff. What a pain! That just really stinks that some people really try and spoil other people's fun. I call them dream stealers.

The nap was delicious, but now I am not tired enough to go to sleep!:rotfl: Maybe you can get a nap in another time.

Sorry I haven't said congrats on the new job yet! So I'll say it now...:jumping1: Hooray! Way to go Vija! Congrats on the new job!:dance3: :dance3:

I have read about geocaching, I think in Family Fun magazine, but have never done it. DH hasn't seemed that interested, but I think it would be a blast and I know my boys would love it! I'll have to check out the website and see if there is anything in my area.:thumbsup2

ell, I had another "on target" day, coming in at 1487 on calories. I'm starting to feel like I can o this for the long haul again.
It does help that emotionally, I am doing much better, as is the rest of the family, and everyone is healthy. So that makes it MUCH easier.:upsidedow

Hope everyone else had a great Monday. See you at weigh tomorrow!

 Laura

Thanks for the congrats!:goodvibes The geocaching is so much fun, and once you try it you will be hooked! I'll bet once your DH tries it, he'll like it, but a word of caution, if you are taking DH out for the first time, make sure you know exactly where that cache is, because it can be very frustrating if you don't find one, and the first time out with him could easily be the last if he doesn't find one. It's one of those things that you don't "get" the fun until you actually find the cache. Very much like a treasure hunt. And great job staying on track! That is awesome!!!!:thumbsup2

Sounds like a fantastic idea. Let me come up with a challenge and then post over there on the thread.

Glad to see you came up with a challenge, it's a good one!:thumbsup2

Hmmm, I've never heard of the letterboxing, I'll have to check it out.

DH bought a simple hand held GPS tracker for about $90. It is nice for inputting coordinates. It isn't too fancy shmancy, and not to expensive. works great for us!:)

Okaaaaay, where's the link to the new week?!?!?
